According to Mashirosen, my anime versus topic belongs here so let's begin the second round over. Who would win:

Males: Nicolas D Wolfwood(Trigun) vs Kiba(Wolf's Rain)
Females: Haruhara Haruko(FLCL) vs Ed(Cowboy Bebop)

Once more to state the rules, vote on one of each male and female character. First to ten wins. Have at it.

Well i think i'll change my previous post alittle:

Nicolas D Wolfwood(Trigun) vs Kiba(Wolf's Rain)

Humm, i would say this is a tough one if i hadn't seen Kiba take out a killer death robot with his teath and claws. Wolfwoods has a mobile arsenal of handguns and a fat ass machine gun. But Kiba has inhuman speed, and experence fighting people with guns. I say that Kiba eventualy get at Wolfwood's throat and kills him, but that Kiba eventually dies from the wounds inflicted by Wolfwood. But then Kiba is revived by Cheza because she can do that sort of thing.

Haruhara Haruko(FLCL) vs Ed(Cowboy Bebop)

Well, unless the fight takes place where Ed can use her uber l337 hacking skillz, Haruko will pound the crap out of her with that guitar.

I don't know Wolf's Rain from a hole in the head, so I'll skip this one.

As much as I like Ed, I have to agree she has no defense against that guitar. Unless you count the fact that she can't stay still for more than two seconds. It's got to be harder to hit a constantly moving target, right? Or maybe the guitar will cause a giant robot that she can control with her computer to come out of her head. But that's a big maybe.

Haruhara Haruko stoped multiple rounds of automatic ammunition with a shaving razor. She's crazy, volatile, and has an automatic rifle built into the end of her guitar. Ed's my favorite character from Bebop, but she's gonna get turned into a bloody smear. Haruko wins.

I don't know ANYTHING about wolf's rain, so I'll skip.

Haduko v. Ed- Haduko definetly. The guitar definetly will kick some butt, as much moving as Ed may do. Also, she always can whack Nauto in the head to spout another robot. Ed does have the option to hack into TV-Boy, but Haduko would kill him. I see no win for Ed here.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood-A traveling priest that carries a very heavy metal cross filled with plenty of guns and a powerful gatling gun. He also possesses great markmanship and speed with said guns.
Kiba-Um...I've...never seen Wolf's Rain...yeah
Match: Wolfwood because I'm biased...

Haruko-Can smash a ball into orbit using a baseball bat.
Ed-No visible physical strengths of any sort, but a master of the virtual world.
Match: Haruko. Ed gets raped.

Oh yea, i should also mention that wolf's from Wolf's Rain can generate the illusion that they are human. If you try to shoot the illusion in the head you just miss, cause the real head aint there buddy. The only way to get past this illusion is to have a dog with you or be drop dead drunk, and i'm talking three seconds from passing out with sever head truma from being thrown out of a bar, drunk. Even Wolfwood can't hold his liquor that good.

As for the second one, hmmm let's see. Psycho with machine gun built into a guitar and can do all manner of supernatural things with a bat versus psyho with a computer and a dog. Hmmm...Haruko bashes the computer and eats the dog 'nuff said. Haruko and may god have mercy on Ed's soul.

Capt. Tyler (The Irresponsible Capt. Tyler) vs. Ominae Yu (Spriggan)

From what I’ve read of Ominae, he has strength, speed, and brains over Tyler. But Tyler has insane luck. Tyler has also been in much worse situations than what Ominae can offer. I would say that Tyler follows his normal routine, he acts so irresponsible that Ominae believes he has to have a plan since no one could be that irresponsible, then some instance of insane luck (lets say an earthquake) happens and eliminates Ominae while at the same time making Tyler look like a brilliant stagiest.

Iria (Iria: Zeiram the Animation) vs. Lina Inverse (Slayers)

Well, from what I know (since I haven’t seen either anime) from the character reports I have found on the internet, Iria is a fairly normal bounty hunter, granted she has some skills. Lina Inverse is the most powerful sorceresses in her world. She has the spell Dragon Slave, which is like having a tactical nuke detonate on your head. Nuff said fight would go like this:

Iria: There you are time to die.
Lina: DIE! *kills Iria with magic*
Iria: X__X
Lina: *steals money from corpse of Iria*

However this is only my preliminary assessment and I still might change my mind if someone posts some first hand anime experience on the characters.

I don't know anything about the male contenders but i think Lina would win hands down. With Dragon slave she could not only kill Iria but everyone else in the near vicinity. Think of all the looting!

I gotta defend Ominae Yu here (seeing how I suggested him and all). I don't care how much luck you have, you can't fuck with a Spriggan and expect to get away with it. That being said, I haven't seen Irresponsible Capt. Tyler, so I may not have an accurate picture of him. Whatever, Ominae Yu is damn near unstoppable. No disrespect to Tyler, but after watching Spriggan, I really can't imagine anyone capable of actually defeating Ominae.

My vote goes to Iria. Any body who can go toe to toe with Zeiram and live is a bad ass. The thing took over a whole city and turned it into a living weapon.

It's not a matter of Tyler defeating Ominae Yu , he winning. Ominae Yu will defeat himself, Tyler's luck makes a leprechaun's luck look like a black cat walking under ladders while breaking mirrors. He has destroyed entire armadas with only his luck.

Okay, a car accident nixed my plans, so I'm here to udate the fights. In the previous fights I will now call the winners. Kiba wins the male match-up. It's hard to shoot what you can't see, and I'm sure Wolfwood never saw the claw to his throat coming. Haruko wins the female match. Ed fell asleep before the match and Haruko decided to take the opportunity to teach her the guitar. Now for the other matches.

I think the Iria/Lina fight would be much closer than most of you have called it. And yeah, Tyler's extreme luck is an important factor in the male match.

hmm...the friendship bitch versus a crazed werecat. Tough choice. One of two things could happen: 1- Tea talks Aisha till she rips her a new one, 2-Aisha gets so annoyed by Tea's dub voice that she eats her.

While I'm not denying that Akane is one tough girl, I have to give this one to 18. I mean, 18 can fly, and can shoot ki bolts. The only way Akane would win is if 1- There was a sale at the mall or 2- She pays 18 off.

Umm....let me paint the picture here.

D vs. Kenshin

I thought about this one for a while and it seems like D would win. Although Kenshin rocks beyond all belief, D can regenerate. I mean, he had his hand chopped off and was ran through repeatedly, but he still lived and kicked ass. Plus he's the son of...well I won't spoil, but those who know, know what I'm talking about.

Haruko, already decided Ed gets beaten to death with the guitar.
Lina Inverse, already dicided, Lina nukes Iria with magic and steals her money.
Seras Victoria vs Kagome, a tough one. But i would have to go with Seras because she has that rather large sniper rifle.
Ritsuko vs Hyatt, very tough match, but Hyatt is immortal so Ritsuko can never win.
Android 18 vs Akane Tendo, i can't call this one, i don't know enough about Akane. But I would say that 18 has the advantage.
Motoko vs Suzuka, great match. They fight for 3 days and nights but then Suzuka wins because of her greater fighting experience.
Ifurita vs Saya, no contest. Ifurita nukes Saya from the upper atmosphere.

Males:

Kenshiro, already decided. The heart of the cards gets ripped out of yugi's chest, still beating.
Kiba, already decided. Wolfwood can't shoot what he can't hit. Kiba has speed and the power of illusion. All wolfwood would (heh, pun) hit is air.
Captain Tylor vs Ominae Yu, not officially decided but Tylor was winning. I say his incredible luck wins out in the end.
Spike vs Vash, despite how cool spike is, i would have to say Vash would win, even though vash doesn't kill, he would still render spike unable to fight.
Junpei vs Akabane Kuroudo, i can't call this one. I have never seen Get Backers and know nothing about Akabane. I can just say that Junpei is a hella good fighter and can strip any female elf naked in seconds.
Sesshomaru vs Arucard, it depends on if Sesshomaru can get close enough to use his sword of life giving. Since Alcuard is undead, that would kill him. But i doubt that he could get close enough. Sesshomaru takes a bullet between the eyes on his first charge.
Jubei vs Keitaro, i'm assuming that this is Jubei from ninja scroll. No contest, Keitaro gets his head chopped off. Unless they are fighting at Hinata, then Keitaro has backup and mecha tama would crush Jubei. But i'm still going to give this fight to Jubei.
Vampire Hunter D vs Kenshin, i have never seen D fight so i can't make a full judgment. You all know Kenshin's strengths and weaknesses so i don't need to say them.

Oh sorry. I was just picturing Keitaro's head rolling along the floor.
But it was probably a good fight until then. I mean, look at all the explosions and pummelings Keitaro survived without permanent damage. That's gotta count for something right?
But Jubei still wins. Hehe, Keitaro becomes head challenged.

Come on. Give Spike some credit. He's got a wicked amount of luck and he's harder to kill than a cockroach. Plus you have to take into account the fact that Vash doesn't like to kill anybody. He wouldn't pull out his full arsenal unless he was hard-pressed to.

I think Vash would win...but it would be a hell of a lot closer than most of you seem to think. And both of them would survive.

This depends on the version of Kenshin you throw out. TV Kenshin will keep tring to disable D, and he will keep failing, until D's hand gets bored and eats him. OVA Kenshin will promptly slice D's head off.

RITSUKO Vs. HYATT
Hyatt seems to be one hundred percent indestructible, so the fight will probably end with Ritsuko drowning in a sea of Hyatt's blood.

JUNPEI Vs. AKABANE
Junpei is too busy strip-searching elf girls to attend the fight. Akabane wins by default.
