Old old old deal that I watched a couple years ago.

Cool as heck. They use FF sprites from 1-6, and make decent animations to form a very interesting story that speculates about the good/evil relations in the FF universe that seemed to cross over into every game.

Gave up on it eventually because I never saw any activity.

But I just looked it up again, because I felt like watching the episodes again (found them on newgrounds, searching Final Fighting Fantasy on Google will take you right there), and they had a new one.
Episode 13. I watched it. Spectacular.
But no wonder I gave up on it, guy says it took him 2 years before he decided to go ahead and make it. Episode 14 should be the last, and now I'm putting it out of my mind until 2008.

But I just wanted to know if anybody else recalls this or was a fan of this or whatever.
And if you don't know what it is, sit right there.

Heres a link to the Newgrounds site.
Now, look, if you've never seen this, watch it in order from chapter 1-13 or else it will be a little confusing.
I'm not linking to his main site because i think I got a virus there or around there a long time ago. I'm not sure- it may have been a stale or screwed version of his site because I read something about him having a new site or something...
In any event, I rewatched all the flashes on Newgrounds, so I know that THIS link is safe enough. And so this is the one I'm giving you.

I'll watch that thing again if and when the final, absolutely last episode comes out. And not a moment before.

Ah, yeah. I guess it was intense enough that the prospect of never seeing an end after watching so much would cause a surge of bitter emotions. I know how you feel. So... I'll throw down a warning label.

WARNING!
View these flashes at your own risk. They introduce an engaging storyline that could have you waiting eagerly, anxiously desperately, insatiably to see the end for THE REST OF YOUR NATURAL LIFE!

I watched it. I loved it. It's in the site my brother goes too, and has each and every chapter of the series. A very exciting flash movie if I have to say so.

I have watched them all, but they all leave me rather depressed, and it gets fairly obvious that every battle is meaningless because the only character the author will allow to win is the evil character, no matter what, to the point of sudden leaps of power or just plain having the good characters have no cards in their hands so to speak.

He also kinda nulls character development because we'll hear the plot and backstory and the thoughts of a character, and then the auther just kills them off after a fight scene.

I'm fairly sure I can predict the outcome of the next fight, Locke Vs. Kain, in which both have a lengthy fight, and whatshername helps Kain out, and just as it looks like Locke is going to win, Kain kills him.

Just for the mere curiosity of it, the site has 12 chapters of it (all until "Power"). Is it the last one or are some other chapters missing..?

Yeah, it's kind of annoying how quick he is to kill off good guys. Sort of like a bad DM, really.

They're good animations though.

They're cool, but the characters he killed off could easily kick the collective asses of Kain, Celes, and Lionheart.

SplashKhat is actually CURRENTLY working on the final episode of the series. It's going to be a pretty big one... As he's got voice actors for it, and everything.

The length of time it took him to get episode 13 out was the collective work of wanting to do it, getting to it, and a combination of hardware, software, and internet problems... Plus, 13's been out for a good long time now. I'm a long standing member of the FFF community, so I know a little bit of insider info. The last FFF will probably be done by mid next year.
