8-Bit Idiot

I'm sure there must some forumites out there that have fond memories of two lab mice plotting global domination. I've recently got my grubby little hands on their first volume DVD, and I still laugh my ass off at words like NARF, POIT, and ZORT.

That exists? Why wasn't I informed of this?
And more to the point, where's the Animaniacs DVDs?

I remember watching those two shows on Saturdays. It was a young, innocent world, the world before the scourge of today's Disney Channel stars arrived. I fear for my country.

I heard that an Animaniacs DVD was released at around the same time the Pinky and the Brain DVD came out.
Also I asked my dad if I could get the Pinky and the Brain DVD (because my parents feel the need to have total control over all my purchases). And my dad simply said, "What the hell?! You still watch that crap?" :stressed:

actually I recently found out Freakazoid is available streaming through AOL.com
I however couldn't get it to work. But I am not currently in the US so that might be why.
PS does Freakazoid remind anyone else of the Earthworm Jim series?

I remember playing Earthworm Jim on SNES...but I don't remember a TV show...
Pinky and the Brain...Remember when they would make fun of famous people...and remember when Brain got his own country and then he tried to get an aid check and then Pinky made it in to origami...Or the one with the tailor and they sang that song...that one always made me laugh...I can't think of anymore right now...

Earthworm Jim (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111948/) was on in the very early days of the WB. (And I think you might be able to find an episode or two up on http://www.youtube.com)
And yeah, it was pretty good.

You left out 'Egad!'
Also, in one unique instance - 'Fjord!'

You know I don't know what's worse - that Hollywood has effectively perfected the technology of selling my childhood back to me a piece at a time, or that I just wish they'd do it faster.

That, and where's my damn Mighty Max DVDs?
Between that, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Earthworm Jim, Hollywood needs to hurry the fuck up.
And about selling our childhood back...I have my Transformers, I'm happy.

THANK YOU OH GREAT OLD ONES! TV has really gone down hill since th 90s, I mean, sure, we have some ggood sitcoms (Raymond) but then we have all the teen girl high school life crap and garbage reality TV abnd game shows that just think they are funny. P&B was a genuinely funny show (as was animaniacs) and I am suprised by the revelation it got a DVD release. I must find it!
