How the heck is everyone getting the camera from the top down perspective to the new perspective?

You hold down the shift key, then click the right mouse button and move the mouse.

When done right you can make the view go way high so it's 2-d or way low so it's 3dish.

Hold Shift and roll the mouse wheel. It changes the height of the camera.

This does strange things when you roll past a 90° angle though... see sk3l's post.

Flare: In the last pic in your first post on this page (#41), it took me a moment to realize what those skills below First Aid are because in the couple of months I've been playing RO I've NEVER SEEN THEM BEFORE. Bet they come in handy though.

I apologize in advance for derailing the thread...

SG works well against undead too; get 'em in a clump and blast 'em all at once. Undead don't freeze, so they take the maximum number of hits from it, which gives you time to drop another SG on their heads - in essence, spamming.

I won't argue your use of Meteor Storm however. That's just fun.

We used meteor storm at first, then decided that Storm Gust looked cooler. I personally liked it more because everything died at once, and not slowly and little clumps at a time. Plus, storm gusting a single verit looks more like overkill than meteoring storming one.

The world is just TOO beautiful for words.
From the snags of the mountains, to the moaning desert, to the concrete of the cities, it is truly a magnificent setting.
The mist thickening as you lift your head higher and higher is brilliant programming, as is the webbed feet or bright eyes of the creatures you get to slay.
Even the kobolds that keep killing me in one swipe are a joy to see; and we are also brought Screenshots of glories and defeats? Beauty beyond compare.

The only thing more lovely than what you see or hear, is what you read. Everyone has been so very kind and considerate; each person has given their all to make this a delight to play. Ya I`ve been gushing with joy the past couple of days; but seriously, thank you to all the people who lift up others with their whole hearts. Game is confusing; it is nice to have help here and there, no matter how "silly" the question.

If there are any new people after me, if I can help them, I will. May it ever be that we as a community allow the richness of our knowledge be given to others.

These really aren't screenshots but rather drawings I doodled in my classes in honour of RO. I quickly realized that a lack of practice made me form images and ideas like a 6-year-old. I have many ideas (many of them emo-ish) but no talent with which to express them.

Star Gladiator skills don't work. That the Exp Modifier, ATK modifier and Vit Defense modifier abilities do not work.

Now compare my Vit to my Vit Defense. Notice how I'm doing 69 damage with 69 ATK on something with significantly more than 0 DEF. And while you can't see it...I'm getting more EXP than what Leaf Cats normally give.

This is something I noticed I can do while sitting on my Star gladiator...zoom waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy out. I can zoom further out, but then half the screen goes black. I tried doing this on Arlan, with the Gunslinger of doom, but it wouldn't let it zoom out this far.
