Once upon a time, there was a sprite comic named The Villain. It told the story of villain who, according to the legend, was to bring a cathartic crisis upon the world and be stopped by a hero in shining armor. But then, not quite by accident, he died from an arrow in the back and the thief Kavian Lake ended up having to fill in for him. There goes the legend. Also, the hero's a complete buffoon.

Now, this comic was plagued by a sketchy update schedule, until, about a year ago, it stopped dead in its tracks. I had a link to it in my sig back then, but even as months went past without update, I kept it in the one place I knew I could hide something: my ass. One long year, I wore this link up my ass.

I had a link to it in my sig back then, but even as months went past without update, I kept it there - because it was a good comic, for nostalgic purposes and, well, because you never know and it wasn't technically cancelled. And what do you know, now it's back. So go read it, it's very good.

Wow. It's not everyday that I get most of the references put in by a webcomic.

That's awesome stuffs. I'm glad he's still there to keep going.

honestly, I've been turned off to the whole web comic thing for years now. (He says with a straight face! HA!) but I somehow wound up reading over forty episodes of that today after I got off work. Nice find Meister! Thanks for the linkage!

Indeed. I'm not much of a webcomic reader, but this one really grabbed my attention. Very funny.
