ok for ammo weapons the first ton of ammo is aready figured into the weight of the weapon you can also add a number of tons equal to the storage rating of the torso. any questions?

The power/capacitance system is slightly confusing...
All parts have a power rating. The combined rating of the other must be equal to or less than the power rating of the generator, otherwise the mecha doesn't work.
Capacitance is an energy pool. When you OB/use energy weapons, capacitance is drained.
Am I correct? And what is the radiator redline, anyways?

you got it on the generators. The Cap points are how much power you have stored.
The heat dissipated is how much heat your radiator can handle before it raises the core temperature. If you have multiple radiators you can increase your cooling but not the redline. The redline is how much over 0 you can go before your CPU starts to freak out and shuts down.

Hmmm... so if your core temperature is over redline for any significant amount of time (i.e. one full turn), the CPU fritzes, right? I'll assume cooling capacity is taken off the heat first before overheating is calculated...

Ranks for pilots in the arena
Omega Class- The best of the best, John was an Omega class Pilot before he sold his mech and reset his ranking.
Requirements: 20 victories in the Kappa class or Sigma Class
Sigma Class - This is another special classification. The Sigma Class pilot participates in unrestricted matches. There are no rules save "destroy your opponent before he destroys you."
Requirements: to be a Kappa class Pilot
Kappa Class - This is the best ranking most pilots will ever get to. At this level you can recieve corporate sponsorship, i.e. free parts
Requirements: 20 victories in the Gamma class
Pi Class - This isn't really a true classification, this is more of a performance ranking. No actual combat.
Requirements: to be a Gamma class Pilot
Gamma Class - The average ranking. At this rank you are considered to be a true proffesional pilot
Requirements: 20 victories in the Beta class
Beta Class - Intermediate class
Requirements: 10 victories in the Alpha class
Alpha Class -Beginners class We are all starting here.
Requirements: A UCV and the knowledge of how to pilot it.

Everybody's in the Alpha class. The rank doesn't include kills you made on the battle field. It's only the number of wins you get in the arena.

ok, i've made up my mind about the parts i want.

I should also fall within weight limits if legs are not counted. Heat and power are not a problem.

2. I think you automatically buy boosters in pairs, I don't think you need to pay for two.
3. Maybe half of the leg weight should count? I don't know, it seems odd for all the weight to count, but it also seems odd for none of the wieght to count...

In every game I’ve played leg weight has never been added to carrying capacity. It does effect your booster efficiency and speed, but not how much you can carry.
Edit - and np about neveron. I should attack you sometime when i get 25 million credits again. That wont be for a while though, i'm in a huge expansion right now. I got really lucky and had 2 prime building areas right next to my starting city. one area can build like, 400 buildings and the other 150.
