View Full Version : Where would this sort of topic go?

Every so often I read a news post (the ones from the front page, that go beneath comics in the archives) and I say to myself, "That there looks like an interesting topic of conversation. Perhaps I should post a topic in the news post section of the forums." Then I remember that there is no news post section of the forums. Would this go in the comics section? General? Discussion? Should all responses to the news posts go in the same forum, or should they be sorted by the content of the news post? Then I give up and go read some other website.

But not this time! This time, I'm asking. Where does it go?

I imagine it would go in off topic. Usually I see many news related stuff there.

The "Where do I put this" thread, for your convience. (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showthread.php?t=11400)

There's no real special place to put threads pertaining to the newspost of the day, so just put it wherever the topic fits. Quote Brian's newspost in the first post if you want to reply directly and all that.

In my experience, we usually end up talking about it in the comic thread. I think I've even seen moderators get in on that. At the very least, it's where it's being discussed now.

There's always that. Not strictly on topic, but in this case, you might as well since the message is the same both times, and besides there's only so much praise a guy can take.

Meister's right, anyway. The news post discussion should just go wherever it fits into. Like when he talks about the Tau in Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War, it'd be in Video Games, and the like.
