This is a semi-reintroduction of me to this forum with a question revolving around past events when I was last here. I, Massacre, am a fan of this comic and a self-styled master of evil. I am also a writer of decent skill. I came to this place 2 years ago, largely posting from college when I was in back then too. Since then, however, I have graduated from one and enrolled into another. This makes me a certified lunatic.

For a little while now, ever since I rejoined this place, a thought has been buzzing in my my mind. That thought is this: Write it... Keep writing it... The "it" in question refers to some stuff that I did here a couple years ago that people seemed to like. That is, what I refer to is...

Ancient forum history, but clever and amusing. I do not, however, think that I should continue that NOW. Not like this and not from that thread. That would be wrong, against the rules, and a bit out of style.

So...that leaves me with the question...

Should I do an in-forum comic based upon my writings?

Well, it would be very hard to even consider your amusing and slightly-confusing requests...without Sean Connery and Vin Diesel sprites.

In any case, this brings me to the next question:

I need some particularly evil backgrounds for this whole business. 8-Bit sprites are easy to find, of course, but not evil backgrounds, and not some of my monsters either. (The latter has especially become a pain for me.)

Hmm... I wonder if some screenshots from Oblivion might work well? Not just the game Oblivion, but the place the game's named after, Oblivion. At any rate, you have to keep this story going, it's freaking fractactical!

These are just to give you ideas, unless you find them useful. I realize the inclusion of the game character and status bar impedes on the background look...

These look useful... Detailed too. Yes, I will make use of these. And I think I know where to get some regular sprite-game backgrounds for the Bastion of Chaos. Castlevania, anyone? Later on, I'll have to search for some equivalent technological backgrounds, but that's thinking WAY ahead...

My main issue will be monsters. I could have a real blast if I could find the sprites to the Persona RPG series. Especially the first game. I'll have to look around again...and make a request, besides.

If you're using castlevania backgrounds anyway, maybe going with the Aria of Sorrows (GBA/DS) backgrounds for futuristic stuff? I'm not 100% sure that they'd help, but I know it was a futuristic themed Castlevania.

Any of those scenes outside? Terminus is alot of outside, you know. In fact, it is moore than 100-times the size of Earth.

BTW: First scene for the intro where this thing gets started will be a rip from the Shadow of the Beast level of Lemmings. It's perfect. Come to think of it, alot of that Sega game could help. That and...Nosgoth.

I tried to find some more backgrounds, but nothing was near right. I didn't actually find a lot of landscapes when I typed in 'landscapes' into the google search. Got anything more specific in mind? I can edit a few in photoshop 7. (provided I can usurp my brother from his compu-throne downstairs)

Actually, yes, if you've got the time.

The area of Terminus around the Bastion of Chaos is a desert wasteland, either sand or solid ground-type by the make. In either case, the ground is generally dark and the sky is none too pleasant either, as a reddish hue is cast down from at least one of the three Dark Suns that orbit the planet at a distance similar to the Earth and our sun. Basically, if it looks desolate, wide open, and sinister-looking.....it's Terminus.

Alright! Commissions! I feel so (mock) professional. I really want to do up some images, so I'll see what can be done. :cool: I've gone and taken an extra high school year (eeeeeediot) so I'll have to work around that. You don't have deadlines perchance? pleaseno!

I've got no deadlines. This is clearly a free-time homage to the series. Professional-level work would be my .hack//CODE story. Do as you wish, but I would advise ye not to jade thy education too much. Life may be a pain, but we still live in it.
