There're several episodes of this so far, and a new one every week. It's all done by one guy, and gets progressively better as it goes. There's one section in part 4 where I actually couldn't breathe due to laughter (you'll probably know it when you reach it).

It's also better if you've seen the horrendous Yugioh dub, as it does make some subtle (and not so subtle) references to it (like keeping in Pegasus's "gauche" line), and referencing robot monkeys.

I actually have seen the dub and i hate Yugioh, but this thing is hilarious. It not only manages to satirize Yugioh, but it does an awesome job with other references too. I think the theme from the omen was playing whenever bakura stepped in and i loved the superman reference at the end. Did any of you guys get the part where in Episode 8, Yugi said "Finish Him!". Man, that Mortal Kombat reference was really well placed. I can't wait for the next ones.

I thought episode 10 was great like the other ones, but nowhere near as funny as the others because most of the jokes were all subtle and referenced jokes that made more sense if you have seen them. Like, I've never seen Evangelion before so I didn't get what the intro was from.

Actually, I really didn't like any of the intros that have the Japanese singing in them. It's just that it seems that kind of song would actually fit into a regular anime and kinda detracts from the whole humor and satire deal.

Additionally, have any of you checked out Naruto Abridged? The first two episodes are pretty heavily influenced by YGO Abridged, but after that it branches out enough to be more independent (and its hilarious, although you have to have seen Naruto to get most the jokes).

I could actually see him going to the end of the series, considering that in some cases (really long battles) he'll take two episodes and merge them into one. He's only really concerned with hitting the major plot points, and (hilariously) he's already gone a long way through the Duelist Kingdom story arc by doing that.

I've never actually seen Capsule Monsters (thankfully) and I actually thought the first episode for this series was better than the Abridged Series episodes 16. I think he also did a better job with this opening episode than the Abridged opener but that's just probably because he has a lot more experience now.

Some of the best quotes ever from this series. I only wish that it was a bit more... spoof-y. It's hard to try and get people to watch it if they're biased against it (I'm okay with watching this because my brother was/is a HUGE fan, and I/the TV babysit a lot).

Heh, whats even better is that these were longer than the usual episode of 5-6 minutes. These ran about 8-9 minutes each. VERY much worth it.

btw, did you guys notice that most anime's now have an "(insert name of anime here): The Abridged series"?

BLEACH even got one. albeit, it isn't the best.
