I've recently purchased DesktopX from Stardock. As an end goal, I hope to make a widget that resides on my desktop, delivering information on hurricanes. Before that, however, I need to learn the program. I've completed my first, very basic learning widget, a little white mage that roams around on my desktop. At my usual haunts, I couldn't get any feedback, good or bad on it. So, I registered over here.
I've been considering a series of slowly more complex desktop toys as learning projects. White mage allowed me get used to the development environment, modifying a fish object from a fishtank desktop.
Before I bother uploading, I was wondering if there were any other users of DesktopX on these forums and whether anyone was interested in my little widget, DesktopX or no.
