Just a thought I had passing through that brain of mine, what about something like a "Forum Projects" forum?

Threads like The Nukies (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showthread.php?t=14369) are a good choice. Mass ideas that could involve all members of the forums can go here.

Then there's the uprising Forum newspaper (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showthread.php?t=14749) would go here, since it's a mass forum acting idea.

At first, this felt like all of these things might belongs in Arts and Crafts, but some are just various and don't seem to belong there, while other projects are off topic and even some are discussion worthy.

Not to mention the "flash makers that involve people from the forums" threads.

I mean, even the NPF Member comic threads could establish here.

It just seems like a forum that could bring a lot of other ideas that span the rest of these boards into one category.

Just a suggestion that I thought was a good idea. Take it how you want, but it seems that so many various projects could really apply to one forum.

I was thinking atfirst of maybe a thread, but the ideas would all conflict and interupt each other. So, here I am requesting something.

We're discussing the possibility but it isn't looking too good at this point, not because of the forum idea itself, but because of the content.

I'll explain later when we come to a consensus.

Understood. It's kind of apparent that a forum like this could be condoned to "I'll do it!" spam with people who end up just not participating in it. (It being whichever project they 'agree' to participate in)

Not to mention the possibility of stupid forum projects popping up. Ons that are invariably destined to spam/flaming over topics/flamebaiting someone over topics of these 'projects'.

And then there's the apparent lack of fitting content to warrant enough to make something as large scale as an entire forum.

The idea really just kind of struck me for the recent uprising ideas that seem to be going along fine and the hopes that NPF could, for lack of a better phrase, not be jackasses with it.

Edit: Oh, big thought just hit on why it's possibly a bad idea. Clique activities and 'holier than thou because I'm part of [insert group here] applies. The "hopes that NPF could, for lack of a better phrase, not be jackasses with it." kind of half covered this, but the blatantness of the afformentioned kind of just struck.

I'd like to add my own idea to the pot. How about a 'Community' forum? We could put the community related threads in there, such as the camwhore thread, public announcment threads, and anything related to the community itself, such as get-together palnning threads and the like. Also, we could make it invisible to anyone who's not a member.
