They had one of these when I was in like sixth grade! I have issue #1 hanging in my room!

...In fact, I think my issue #1 may be the only issue that survived the years...I had the entire series pretty much...but I was a young lad with no concept of "gentle use"...so most of them...the ones I can even find...are in very rough shape.

The more I read that article, the happier I become.

Their going to ignore the 3rd season...I assume that was the "Goliath Chronicles", which were absolute crap compared to the rest of the series. If so, heck yes.

According Wikipedia, the first issue is already out...I may have to find a comic shop to stop by on the way home from work tomorrow.

Gargoyles WAS awesome when I was a kid, but, unlike everything else that was awesome when I was a kid (I'm looking at YOU GI Joe), Gargoyles is still awesome now when I happen to flip over to Toon Disney.

And the comic book looks pretty sweet too.

I did two seasons of the show, and they did a third season without me, which was frustrating, to be honest. I’m not knocking the creative team who worked on that third season, but the show was so much my baby that to see other people taking the characters in directions I didn’t want to take them was so traumatic.

1. That was the second season. The third season was the one where they changed the name to "Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles" and turned everything into a big lame-assed homily about racism.

Anywho, I stopped by a comic/game shop that I have gotten familiar with (it's where I buy my Warhammer 40K stuff), and I asked the clerk if they had heard anything about the new Gargoyles comic coming out, and she said, "They're making a comic? Sweet!"

So...I guess it's not very well known. >_>;;

Anyone have any release information or anything?
