Honestly. If you didn't see this coming, you need to get your eyes checked.

I feel disapionted in the mundane method of the tower's destruction, BM could have done better. Good to see the group reunited tho.

It might seem bad, Black Mage, but you did just singlehandedly destroy the town's morale. :P
After they spent all that time fixing it up too. What a shame.

Did anybody here not see that coming? Funny, though.

I sorta did. I just can't wait for BM to see his puppet.

Yes, it may seem bad, BM, but you just destroyed a building with your butt.
*claps for BM*
Anyways, I do so wonder what BM will think of Fighter's hand puppet. Slightly off topic, but why can't I find the Picard and Prime pictures?

Becasue they're not posted?
And BM's a lot tougher then one would think.

Ah, yeah, good ol' rampant destruction, such a staple of the comics.

I like Onrac's mayor. And why did Black Mage have to crash into the community center? He couldn't have, I dunno, crashed through the ocean and into the sea shrine?
Inconsiderate jerk.
But really now. The mayor's so polite.

haha, there goes the hopes of the Onrac people... BM you've done it again. Don't ever change and kill and destroy more.

"Is that a hammer in your pants or are you just happy to see me?"
Is what BM's crotch is going to say. If it could speak. Stranger things have happened.
By the way does WM wear pants?
for some reason i see the peak of the tower smashing that poor orphans family....
Black Sword
07-06-2006, 03:18 AM
Why am I not surprised? But yet, I am still amused. And I seriously doubt that it'll crush the orphan's family. It's not like the Onion Kid can easily get there.

BM's going to get the hammer for destroying a building, but not on purpose.
WM's evil that's what she is, crushing BM's skull every time something gets destroyed. Evil, I say.
What are the chances of BM not getting blamed?

I have this feeling that when BM meets up with the LW's again Fighter's going to get the BM puppet and the real BM mixed up.

What I'm really looking forward to now is the BM-WM discussion. What will BM tell her? That he wasn't with them?

He'll find a way to blame it on Theif.
Then Theif will rewrite time.

I think this is the most damage ever done with a single hadoken on this planet; a town and a comunity centre. The destruction of the dinosaurs doesn't count.

Okay, White Mage isn't good at being a fantasy hero.

WM should've been smart and protected the community centre from people flying through the air at high speeds. Or at least protected it from anything BM could've done to wreck it.

Anyone else notice that the leaders of the people are all really really stupid? Of course RM will probably try to fix the building in some half-assed impossible way that will result in double xp gain.
happy_turtle
07-06-2006, 01:03 PM
Maybe WM won't blame BM for the centre because she said that it is wrong to pin the hopes of the people on a building and that is what caused the sinking of the shrine so she might just consider this a work of fate.
Flarecobra

You know, it looks like it's some distance away, so perhaps BM can get away, or at least dust himself off by the time WM gets there.
blackwaltzomega
07-06-2006, 02:08 PM
He will probably either lie grotesquely to get out of trouble, or he'll tell them what really happened and WM won't believe him anyway.
Or he might run or do something clever. (Yeah, right...)
Or something ELSE will happen! (Never forget to factor this in.)

Numerous times.
But we should talk more about the comic.

They said they had a community center now. RM authorized himself as foreman, etc. Anyone NOT surprised BM didn't take the place down?

At least he did his demolition job but iust the wrong part of the town.
unfourtunatly WM wont see it that way. i feel another holy fire coming on but she'll destroy even more of the town and be exiled. lol
CrotchKnocker
07-07-2006, 12:59 AM
Even better,
WM will forgive BM for knocking the building over because she had warned them about that.
THEN she will ask why he was flying through the air in the first place.

You'd have thought that town woulda been hell of a way away from BM's shoe-shop, TOO much to knock it down...

Let's just say that BMs hate and madness creates some kind of mass, and don't forget that RM probably build that thing, min/max the stickyness of chewinggum...

And he hadokened knowing what will happen with out feather fall? crushing the weak bones in black mages body? i doubt it.. id say it did wear off.

I'd say there is a difference between the "featherfall" and "crash into town centers softly" spells.

And in any case, physics says he'd fall at the same velocity as he went into the air. Of course, that's not accounting for air resistance. But then that's not accounting for his hat.
And of course, none of this accounts for the fact that it's a ****ing webcomic where violation of the laws of physics is often the set-up, delivery and punchline all at once.
hear hear for the destruction of physics and logic. but usually fighters the cause not BM, my favirote quote is still. :thief: "BM WM something bad has happened to physics" but i guess BM just needed his chance to destroy physics.
Nayno
07-08-2006, 04:44 PM
Well, as I understand it, featherfall only works on objects that are falling vertically. BM was launched mostly horizontally... the feather fall worked since BM never hit the ground, but it did not affect his velocity when he hit the building.
Waylander
07-08-2006, 10:05 PM
Or maybe it did work and thats why BM isnt a red (do BM's bleed red?) smear on the landscape right now. Featherfall prevented him from dying but his velocity was still significant enough to utterly destroy the building
Flarecobra
07-08-2006, 11:35 PM
Throw in the fact that BM's able to take quite a few blows and not get knocked out now...WM has toughened him up.
Throw in the fact that he's picked up Fighter and thrown him, shows that I think BM's far stronger then we reliaze. His knife just can't get through Fighter's armor.
Heliomance
07-09-2006, 04:48 AM
Look at it this way - BM has shown himself more than capable to withstand the kickback of hadoken in the past. If he didn't have feather-fall on, reducing his bodymass, he wouldn't have flown up into the air with such velocity.
