After BM defeats his doppel-ganger and absorbs its evil he says

"Thank the numberless lords of chaos I had the sense to set this up ahead of time."

When he says set it up ahead of time, does he mean he set it up as a contingency plan while he ruled hell? Or just do because of all the evil he has done? Or something else?

Thanks, etc.

Its just menas that BM is So evil that he had a plan just in case he's heart became calm, he could just "jump start" the manical Within

Basically, having expelled all his evil, Black Mage finally feels some peace. But Black Mage ENJOYS being evil. So, luckily for him, there's an excessive amount of "evil" floating around after the doppleganger was defeated. And it just happens to be all of Black Mage's evil. So he takes it back and doesn't have to worry about being a decent person.

That was my favorite comic... anyway... I agree with Kurosen's statement... (who wouldn't? He made the comics that we all love!)

That was my favorite comic...

Im prolly letting it get to me but don't you think thats a rather annoying overused qoute everyone uses around any webcomic? There are so many comics of 8-bit theatre it kinda insults the rest of them for you to say that 1 is your favourite, and how could it be when the whole thing put together is so amazing? Personally if I had to answer what my favourite comic was I would ramble through at least 400 of great comics.

By the way in that tower of ordeals did anyone really learn anything from that? Seems to me they just outsmarted and bluffed their entire way through that!

I personally prefer the next one, where BM sinks to new low even for him, if you don't know what I'm referring to, be happy you lucky naive bastard.
