I think Black Mage is right. Once it starts, good luck never comes to an end.

Wow, didn't take them long to get up wanted signs, did it?

greed
06-24-2006, 12:57 AM
Fenris, I'm guessing the wanted posters are probably from the

ORGY OF VIOLENCE (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=060408) from a while back.

The guards aren't smart enough to connect the preClass Change BM with Blue Mage BM, and aside from the stuff involving the cobbler he hasn't really done anything else in public, unless WM dobbed him in for his "art".

willyolio

but the wanted pictures are post-classchange.

Well, yeah so it is from the Orgy of Violence.

What do the wanted signs say?

happy_turtle
06-24-2006, 01:33 AM
I have no idea but I have a pretty good idea that someone will catch on to the fact that BM isn't running a legit business...he never gave that old lady a reciept and that is illegal.

Black Sword

Fornicating feces. Why did Black Mage have to tempt Murphy? These damned smart guards will be his undoing! ...or their own undoing, rather. Another Orgy of Violence, anybody?

PyrosNine
06-24-2006, 02:28 AM
You'd think, after some time, Black Mage would stop using the word "Forever."

Just a thought.

Aebliss

Well, BM's always had quite the talent for jinxing his own good fortune. The one and only time he didn't, as far as I can recall, was when he recently leaned against the landing gear of the deathtrap for a breather, saying how safe he was. In fact, he was extremely safe; down there, the rest of the Lite Warriors and WM couldn't see him.

For the curious (http://www.nuklearpower.com/images/ep712wanted.jpg).

PyrosNine
06-24-2006, 02:54 AM
Gotta wonder who put up that sign then, considering very few people have kept track of BM throughout his entire trip, and are aware of every single atrocity he's done.

Especially the murders, because have we ever known him to leave survivors other than Onion Kid?

greed
06-24-2006, 03:02 AM
Thanks Brian, I was going to ask for that, and it looks like I underestimated the guardsmen they weren't fooled by the class change.

Kroze Gamegod
06-24-2006, 03:13 AM
Yeah...
Who WOULD be tracking all those misdeeds, I mean, even the rest of the LW's would at least one of those things seeing as how they've been thus far...
Something also is how many days has it been and there really should be a switch back to the rest of the party now and then check in on BM as he is later being hunted down just so everybody can be happy (Except BM that is...)

Actually, there IS one person who would know...
Sarda...
Dun dun DUNNN!!!!

Archdeco
06-24-2006, 03:32 AM
Thanks for complying and therefore making people think there's a grand conspiracy going on against BM.

Nayno
06-24-2006, 03:34 AM
I, too, wonder about BM's Wanted status. Who would link all of those crimes back to BM, and why not any of the other Light Warriors? Surely they would have posters alongside BM's? Additionally... the BM in the wanted poster appears to be post-class change, as evidenced by the crescent moon on his hat.

I hypothesize that someone with a personal vendetta is hiding in the shadows, stalking BM. I've narrowed the list of suspects down to two people: Onion Kid, or Brian himself.

Or maybe the Dark Warriors.

You mean there isn't?

JustAnotherFan

Why BM got his wanted status now? He's been a homicidal killer from a century ago. He should have got price for his head a long time ago too.

For the curious (http://www.nuklearpower.com/images/ep712wanted.jpg).

While BM is usally the main instigator, I'm curious why the rest of the LWs don't have posters of their own up there as well. Thief is almost as guilty as BM, & at very least RM seemed to take part in the Orgy of Violence™, as well. Fighter could at least be pegged as an acomplise.

Also, Brian if it makes you feel any better, any time your character kills any creature in The World's Largest Dungeon™, you *ARE* killing somebody involved in its construction, as they were all put there by the designers who made said TWLD™.

And if you're feeling like cheating (oh gosh no), you could check out Amazon.com's entry on TWLD™ (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1594720290/002-7711201-3183224?v=glance&n=283155). In the second entry, it mentions how many rooms & levels you're dealing with. And from what I can tell, that's about as much of a spoiler that you'll be able to pick up on. Most of the other entries give praise, but mention the dungeon's flaws (lack of supplies/treasure, too many typos, and some complained about a lack of storyline). Hopefully, Sosa's fixed some of this prior to your groups starting in on this, but maybe not (hope you packed enough beef jerky).

Hmmm, the guards are still too idiotic and can be fooled easily. And even if they aren't, we all know what happenned in Corneria and that it can easily happen again.

Either Amazon.com doesn't like direct linking, or you're just wrong & stupid. The link works fine for me, so maybe if you copy & paste it should work fine.

Or you could go directly to Amazon.com & enter World's Largest Dungeon into the search bar.

Ah, but if the story can be trusted, BM is the only Blue Mage in existence. Or he should be ...

Red Dragon 50

I think Sarda posted them up there so the guards would read them go after BM so he could gt back to his Light Warrior Duties.

1) It's illegal on Earth... not necessarily in their world.
2) The old lady is the perp - she stole those shoes. She didn't pay for them, but ran out wearing them anyway.

Demonlink2

This will most likely continue forever. And this is about the time where BM gets driven out of town by the guard who isn't stupid.

The only one that throws me is that it pins him for Dwarfocide, I mean, he did all that under magical disguise, right?

Yeah, exactly. It was under the disguise that made all the LW look like dwarves. Even more so, the second destruction of Dwarfland took place when BM was FAR away, attempting to use his Meteor on Ranger after said archer pinned him to a tree, missing PATHETICALLY. The only group who could potentially accuse them of the dwarfcide is inside the "sister" group consisting of Ranger/Berserker/Rogue/Cleric. But they bought the story of alien possession that RM and Thief made up.

Beside, as far as I know, there are just about no witnesses alive willing to testify against BM aside, since the only ones left clam up either on fear or ignorance like the Onion Kid or Fighter (although Fighter deserves a catagory of his own), or his "status" as a LW means he isn't worth putting on trial unless his killing spree becomes too great like WM, RM, Thief.

Nakor
06-24-2006, 03:26 PM
I think we're all forgetting here the one responsible for giving away most of the Light Warriors' secrets. Yes, none other than Fighter.

Really, would it at all be surprising for him to have chatted with some random authority at some point (some how) and talked all about what a great guy Black Mage really is, and all his exploits? :p

The only one that throws me is that it pins him for Dwarfocide, I mean, he did all that under magical disguise, right?
They were under magical disguise... BUT! The magical disguise was such that others would see them as they would want to see them. Random passer-bys would not care, and thus would see them in their real form. Quite obviously, they wouldn't interfere for their own sake. But that doesn't mean they couldn't tell the authorities...

PyrosNine
06-24-2006, 05:00 PM
I agree that the magical disguise would make others see them as they want to see them, but in that case, given their locations, what many travelers would look for would be Not-bearded barmaids. And the poster doesn't show BlackMageia.

Of course, the poster could also be Onionkid or something. He could be in it for REVENGE! But then again, I don't think he was in dwarfland.

Well, anyone could be passing by. So tha person, not actually caring about the LWs appearance that passerby would see them as they were. Or perhaps it was someone who wanted to see the LWs class changed. Yeah, why not, that would explain how the CCd BM would be accused for dwarficide.

Why fighter? he just stood at the edge of town and counted.

I'll br the first to say it this topic, BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Everything that happens, happens to hurt Black Mage.

Awesome Poster btw, but does anyone make referencing to multiple orphanings? Ir would that go against everything that happens, happens to hurt Onion Kid?

Aebliss

... Thief might have sold BM up the river. Think about it; it'd mean he could collect informant money with no risk to himself, conniving con artist that he is. Anyone who tried to apprehend BM would likely be vaporized before they could finger Thief.

invghost
06-25-2006, 04:40 AM
It would have to be a light warrior that sold him out because everyone else wouldnt actually want to see the light warriors (and seriously, with thier great history, who would want to see them?)

Sky Warrior Bob

Why fighter? he just stood at the edge of town and counted.

I was thinking more in the grand sense of all the LWs adventures. I mean, he's usually the driver of the getaway vehicle (airship). And I'm sure somebody out there could find something fit to try Fighter on.

Then again, maybe he'd get off for not being mentally competent to stand trial.

Thief and the others, as far as we know, don't know or care that BM is gone. As such, Thief has no motive.

It can't be Onion Kid, because he's on trial, and will probably lose and be executed.

It's probably Sarda, who wants BM to get back on the horse, IMO.

Onion kid will never be executed.
Either what is left of his famile/host family or good friends will be killed in the most gruesome and painful ways imagineable.
