It was a quiet evening, people were out buying last-minute foodstuffs for dinner, Or off in the tavern drinking away their worries.
Draca was among those in the marketplace, picking up some foods that her family doesn't grow themselves. As she picked up her bad, which was full of bread, and some vegatables and dried meats, she heard a loud boast from the direction of the inn. "Dragon hunters. Scum of the planet." She heard the seller say under his breath. "At least the milita keeps them from getting too roudy." Draca replied as a pair of armored militamen came running over to the disturbance.
"Well, I've got to get going before it gets dark. See you later!" She said, starting off to her home, on the outskirts of the town of Torin, which is a common stop for the armies traveling between Ft. Ist and the front lines at Ft. Odea and Satue. It was also a favorite stop for Dragon Hunters, as it was close to lands where Dragons were known to rule.

Neesha Kurtzstein found a cool spot on a hill, set down her warhammer, and then lowered herself against a nearby tree to sleep. It wasn't that she was too exhausted to get to the distant village of...of...
"Torin." Neesha recalled finally.
...But rather, she simply didn't have the money to stay at even their cheapest inn, if there was more than one. Dragon hunting was just not rewarding work. Letting her other senses take over to awaken her when danger approached, Neesha gazed at the moon and waited for sleep.

"Hey!" said an enthusiastic voice near Neesha. By the time the warhammer wielding dragon slayer had opened her eyes, a few coins were placed in her palm.
Elaina had dueled many people before and wasn't too short on money to help a fellow wanderer.
"No one should need to sleep outside!" she said with a happy grin, extending her hand to Neesha's coinless hand.
As she stood like that, Neesha could see that underneath the parted brown leather cloak that enshrouded her was little clothes if any and on her back rested a rather large sword for a woman her size, glimmering serenly in the moonlight, almost to a surreal point.

Derrick said his goodbyes to the people he'd come to know at the fort this past year. The king, the knight trainer, all of his fellow trainees he'd met during the classes and exercises, it saddened him to know he had to leave them behind. He trotted his horse outside the gates of Fort (whichever one Flare mentioned that's closest to Torin), and to one last look at it... and, the place where his town used to be. As Derrick looked at the spot, he thought he could hear the screams all over again, and smell the flames and blood. He quickly looked away, toward the town of Torin. That, is where he would go first, to begin his journey, get more supplies, and perhaps find allies to find the devil-spawned dragon that destroyed his town. (Can we just say the dragon who led the attack on Derrick's village is the big bad boss one we're going to fight eventually, or one of his cronies?)
The knight-in-training kicked his horse into a gallop, the chain-links of his armor clanging against eachother.

Alis stood before the meager gates of Torin with uncertain eyes. Of all places... A small village like this was not something one would expect to fit a prophecy, or a legend... The young priestess sighed, reminding herself that looks could indeed be decieving.
"If the oracle was correct..." she whispers to Suroz, the bodyguard she had hired earlier that week to escort her through the dragon-frequented lands near the village, "This village should shed some light on my search..."
"It's hopeless." she thought to herself. Several long months now, and not even a hint of the savior was to be found. Still, Alis steeled her conviction, knowing that if anything could fix the world, it would be the one spoken of in the prophecy.

Neesha took Elaina's hand, but mostly helped herself up. "Your kindness knows lesser bounds than most people I see when sleeping outside. My name is Neesha, and I thank you."
Neesha sounded a little weird when she spoke, so obviously she had little experience with people over the years. Figuring that her new acquaintance would be going to Torin, Neesha decided to stick with Elaina for the time being. Even if she wasn't going to Torin, it wasn't like Neesha had any destination in mind anyways.

As Draca was walking along, she went past another inn, where it seems that the disturbance from earilor had come there as well, so she hurried along, until a large man was knocked into her, causing her to be knoked aside. "Wha? Ya little bitch....Jus' think'n you can push me around huh?" He said, glaring at her, as she tried to back away. "I..I'm sorry sir, I was just passing by...." "Shaaup!!" he said, getting up and looking down at her. "I think I'll teach ya some mannors..."

Derrick walked away from the stables, where he had left his horse for the time being.
He saw a particularly large, and perhaps drunk man rearing his fist back. Derrick looked in front of the person, and saw a woman backing away, trying to keep the ruffian away from her.
His voice rang out, "Keep your hands off of her you filth, or you shall have the wind knocked out of you faster than you could blink!"
The man turned around, blinking in confusion, before seeing the speaker, "So mister pretty boy, you want some too?"
(And I'll leave off there in case anyone else wants to jump in)

Alis had began making her way from the southeast gate towards the center of town, perhaps to find a bite to eat at the local tavern, or stop by the temple for a moment of meditation to clear her mind. Meanwhile, she passed through the marketplace, witnessing the unfolding scene between the large man, the young woman, and the knight.
It proved to be violent.
"Favor yourself and do not seek violence, my friend, for it will soon find you in recompense." Alis shouted at the large man, and perhaps the knight too, in afterthought. Things did not deserve to get out of hand, and the city watch would certainly become involved if they did.
The young priestess did not look anything threatening, beside the bow slung over her back, and the sword at her side. She was, for all intents and purposes, not of very imposing stature and did not appear to be skilled. Then again, she reminded herself...
"Looks can be decieving."

Three more guys broke off to join the other thug, they appeared to be his lackys. "Heh. You think you can defeat us! We've taken down a Blue Dragon! You'd do best to fear us!" he boasted. Upon hearing that revelation, Draca glared, getting up. "You...killed...a dragon? What'd it do to you!?" she screamed at him. "Haw! It was worth a thousand gold! That's what!" He laughed. That was the last straw, as she launched at him and clawed at his chest, leaving four long, bleeding cuts in the surprised thug.

The odd talk didn't bother Elaina at all and with the same pleasant smile she said, "Never a problem!"
Neesha was right about the destination of the fellow, fighter. Right for Torrin and one of its inns. One that happened to be near a feud where there were three imposing men, what looked like a preistess and a knight and a girl, clawing into one of the thuggees.
"Oh! Fight!" she chirped with an odd glee before charging forward. Her hand fell on one of the startled thug's shoulders and he turned to see Elaina, holding her sword and still smiling.
"Let's fight!" she chirped again, "Winner gets the other person's money!" her voice still pleasantly happy and casual as she just...ran up and challenged someone to a duel.

Neesha watched with some disbelief as Elaina simply approached one of the thugs. Unsure of how to react, she moved up to the third man and swung her arm around his neck. Then she flexed it, locking his head in place. Her other arm took his weapon arm by the wrist and forced him to drop his rusty knife. With the third man locked down, Neesha could see how Elaina dealt with these kinds of people.

small shafts of evening light shone down through cracks in an old storage cabin. a humanoid form was wrapped up in a black hooded cloak and leaning against one side of the wall. a small noise caused sparta to perk his ears and he was quickly on his feet. pulling back his hood and cloak revealed his night-black bone plate mail. he edged close to the wall that he had heard the noise from and put his eye up to one of many holes in the wall.
"what have we here..."
a small fight was breaking out between what seemed to be hired swords and some other crazy looking wanderers. sparta tapped against the wall patiently as he watched the battle.

The thug looked at the woman in a bit of shock. She wasn't that large and she seemed so...perky. How much trouble could she be?
With a sickly snarl, the man pulled out his sword.
"Little girls shouldn't fight strong dragon hunters. Time to teach you a lesson."
Elaina just looked at him a bit oddly, her head tilted to the side as she peered up at his menacing stature.
"I guess I am a little girl!" her voice sounded...elated and happy at the obvious insult. But when the man had unsheathed his sword, the challenge was accepted to her.
Her hand travelled back to the sword that was strapped to her back. With a sharp pull out it threw off the large, leather cloak to reveal a barely covered female warrior, holding her sword ready for combat.
The man gave a wry smile. A nearly naked woman? No challenge at all. He thought that until she charged at him. Her speed was remarkable, given the weight of the sword she was carrying, and with a massive swing the blade hurdled to meet with his leg.
The thuggish warrior had enough reaction sense to place his sword to parry, but a sudden shock came over him as the blades clashed. A red, lightning like energy shot around his blade as soon as the two weapons met. In an instant it shattered into pieces, all that was left was the hilt.
But her blade kept moving, tearing forward to go to its target.
His leg.
Again, once the blade had met, the red lightning engulfed the appendage. A bloody burst followed, his leg shattering like his sword, but in a much nastier way. The man fell over, shocked, disarmed and delegged with only a look of utter fright in his eyes.
"I win!" she shouted happily, extending her hand to her fallen opponent, "Remember! Winner gets the others money!" the girl was seemingly happy and calm at the fact that she had just crippled this man.
"Y-you cut off my leg!"
"I didn't cut it off, silly! I blew it up! That's how I beat people! I could've swung at your chest...but then that'd kill you and why would I want to do that?"
The man's jaw just kind of dropped, his shaking hand moving into his vest and pulling out a small sack of money.
"J-just take it. Please. Just take it and leave." the man was now on the verge of a breakdown at the event he had just witnessed.
Elaina happily took the money, gave him another smile and redressed herself in her cloak.

"Oh, for the lov..." Alis muttered as the fight broke out without any hesitation at all toward her presence. Unavoidable perhaps, in this faraway village. It seemed a common scuffle, until Elaina blew the third man's leg off with her sword. Alis' sentace was cut off in mid-phrase as the shocked man toppled over, despite the fact that he probably deserved it.
Still, life was a sacred thing, and to leave the poor man to bleed to death would be to defy her station. Alis rushed to the fallen man's side, kneeling down to assess the damage caused by Elaina's sword.
"Please, do not move. You will only injure yourself more." She says softly, as she takes the remains of the man's leg in her right hand, a look of visible horror crossing her face. Short of death itself, she'd never seen such a severe wound. What was left of his leg had been sheared clean off, and most of it was destroyed to the point that simple reattachment would be impossible.
"I... I..." The man stammered, quickly lapsing into shock from massive blood loss associated with his leg's primary arteries being disentigrated.
"Hush!" Alis repeats more sternly this time, setting the remains of his leg into position as best as she could. From the sapphire set within the gold-inlined bracer of the priestess' left arm, there projected a faint trail of silver light toward the air immediately before her fingers, forming a series of shimmering golden runes.
"La eridu etah." Alis says softly, eyes closed now, as her left hand runs across the projection, fingers touching a trio of sigils in unison. A blue haze enshrouds the fallen man's bleeding stump and the remains of his leg, slowly mending it back together in a rudimentary fashion. The man was still unconcious, but he would eventually regain control of his leg thanks to the near-instant response of the young priestess, whom was still in a state of mild daze from the strenuous action of mending a destroyed limb.

"My, my...and here I'd thought there was no excitement to be found way out here, so far from civilization." a calm, urbane voice spoke from somewhere behind Neesha's shoulder. There was a soft 'clump', as of two hard bootheels meeting the ground, as a well-dressed Felidiae landed behind them, toffing his plumed hat gallantly at the girls, then turning to admonish the thugs.
"Tsk, tsk, no style at all. What sort of a gentleman so offends a lady's honor by attacking her when she lacks a weapon to defend herself?" something long, slender, and shiny emerged from the folds of his cloak, the tip of a rapier suddenly pressed to the throat of the thug that Neesha held immobile, as the cat-man crossed around in front of him.
"Can you satisfy my curiosity with an explanation, my good man?"

Neesha released her prisoner, who had lost the will to fight when Elaine dismembered his friend and fled the moment her muscular arm uncoiled from around his neck. the thug that neesha released ran in fear, not heeding his direction. he came upon a small shack not more than several feet from where his attackers stood conversing. he grasped the knob of the door, but the moment he attempted to turn the knob, a loud splintering thunk rang in his ears, causing him to clench down his teeth to the point of almost shattering them.
"ah ah ah...you didn't knock."
the thug looked down to see a large sword pierced through the door, impaling him. blood began to seep from his mouth and he coughed up a heroic amount in an attempt to scream for help. his arms flayed at the blade that was running him through. suddenly the door exploded as sparta burst through, then with a heroic lift of his sword he tossed the thug over his head, sending a rain of blood behind him. sparta glanced at the group of travelers standing not twenty feet from him, the bones on his armour and sword glowing in the evening light.

It was a magnificent horse, in a magnificent night, with the most magnificent warrior riding along. Or at least that was what Robert would've said if you asked him how his trip went as he rode into the village. He looked a little worn from riding most of the day, so he was quite eager to get off his horse when he came into town. He walked his horse to the stables, and paid for a night, then started to wonder in town, trying to think of something to do. For really, he was the warrior of legend, so there had to be something for him to do.
He came up upon the little ending fight, just in time to see the healing take place. He noticed the thug running away, but paid no attention. Instead, he announced himself, because the squire took a week's vacation 2 days ago, so he was on his own. "Hail fellow warriors. It is I, Robert the Warrior of Legends." He said, in a vibrant pose that made you want to believe him.

Alis stood, looking at the other three in a mild state of confusion. Of course, she'd have been confused anyway, even without the added effect of channeling a healing spell on such short notice. Eliana seemed strange, Neesha normal, and the dragon-woman... Something was different about her.
"Excuse me bu-" she started speaking to Elaina, but was quickly cut off.
*KRACK!* A loud crash, a sickening, gurgling scream, and the sound of Sparta launching the fleeing thug over his head made the hairs on the back of the young priestess' spine stand straight up. The man stood there like some sort of deathknight horror, having just slain an innocent man in cold blood.
With reflexes fitting someone used to fighting back the undead and forces of darkness, Alis reached over her shoulder to ready her bow, plucking an arrow from her quiver and drawing the weapon in Sparta's direction.
"What possibly compels you to murder a helpless man?" She asks him incredulously, completely ignoring Robert the Magnificent's eccentric appearance.

Neesha was just about to voice her acceptance of Elaina's gracious offer when the possibly mentally deranged woman was now busying herself with someone new, some self-important weirdo on a horse. This situation was a little too bizarre, particularly for Neesha who hadn't encountered such a large group of humans in weeks until now. She backed away, suddenly bumping into Felidiae. "Oh, excuse me." Neesha said, whirling around his shoulder, trying to back out of this increasingly weird situation.
She ignored the blood. She ignored the weapons. She ignored the handsome guys. This is was just far too weird for her.

Daaaaaaaaaamn. That word went through Robert's head. Of all the people to be poking him with a sword, it had to be a really hot chick. Though Robert was kind of curious what was she wearing under that cloak.
He grabbed the sword with one hand and gently pushed it aside. He was tempted to yell at her for not listening, but it really did look like she traded smarts for hots, so he could forgive her. "I am Robert little lady." He said, throwing in a smile for good measure. "And who might you be?"

Derrick stood there, blinking, mouth agape. He had just intended knock out the thug, and any of his cronies, and be on his way. Not have half a dozen other people jump in and kill them. "So much for good first impressions," he half muttered, not caring if anyone heard him. Then, he heard the words dragon, and hunting in the same sentence, and suddenly perked up. Derrick tried to say this in a knightly manner, "Uh, would you mind if a knight-in-training tagged along?", but due to A: still being in shock from how fast the group got rid of those thugs, and B: being scared out of his mind because of A, and not wanting to suffer the same fate as the 4 idiots.

"Dragon hunters.....damn scum." Draca said coldly, her crimison eyes taking on a steely look. It was evident that she wasn't fond of the profession. "Why would you go and attack something that doesn't attack unless provoked, aside from that Dark Dragon and his armies. But that's only a small fraction! Most dragons are rather peaceful, some even protect the smaller villages out on the rural areas!" she said to them, her tone aggravated.

Neesha looked thoughtful. She didn't really explore the possibility that it might not have been a dragon that destroyed her hometown. She always just assumed it was. When she returned from foraging, all she saw was her hometown in flames and a few dragons flying away. She never actually saw that it was them that set the village ablaze. But there was nothing else to see so she just always believed...
No, it was ridiculous. Elaina was crazy. Why not have another crazy woman in the same village? And judging from the girl's red eyes, she might even be possessed by a demon. It was possible that dragons were not at fault for the destruction of all she knew and loved so long ago, but it was absurd to think of anything else. Then again, they were too far away for her to tell which type of dragon they were.
"So...Dark Dragons. Where are they?"
It was simply all Neesha wanted to ask. She didn't intend to go hunting them immediately, but knowing where they were located would be valuable.

((OOC: If just for the sake of PheonixFlame’s sanity…I’ll notice the bloody murder. :p))
Ailden walked into the town of Torin. He was tired, his feet were sore, and he was hungry. He had been in this town once, part of a army that was marching to oppose the Dark Dragon. War was not a fun thing, but Ailden had proven to be good at it…good enough to survive where many in his army didn’t, at any rate.
He snorted. Memories don’t feed you. Where was that inn we stayed at? It wasn’t half bad… He walked the streets, trying to remember the name and location of the inn.
Along the way, he came across an…odd scene. A small group of people…some obviously armed…stood in the middle of the street. Not far from them was a rather bloody mess, with bloody being the key word. It looks like something exploded or something, Ailden thought to himself, averting his eyes from the mess…just in time to see a man decked out in bone armor impale and throw someone in the street. One of the women in the talking group took offense to this, drawing her weapon and demanding an explanation.
Ailden found himself inclined to agree with her. He lowered the spear he had been using as a walking stick, taking the covering off the blade, and stopped behind the bone-armored man. “I would like to hear an explanation to the lady’s question as well,” the feleide growled. “To my knowledge, most places don’t take kindly to killing in the street.”

"I cannot state an opinion on dragon hunters, but I know that sentient beings often lose their rationality when they see something that could endanger them, whether or not it actually does." Tybalt shrugged at the fiesty maiden's opinion of the profession, his eyes tracking the flight of the impaled thug, "...and some sentients are just psychopaths."
Sparta's threat didn't help in the slightest, "Sir, you in the terribly gauche bone armor, should you threaten the maiden again, Gallant and I will take offense." the Felidiae adjusted his rakishly angled hat slightly, then continued in a serious tone, "Now, you do owe her an explanation as to why you slaughtered him. A man who strikes a foe that is no longer a threat has forfeited the right to be called a man at all...savvy?" the catboy's lips curved into a sardonic smile, the barest hint of sharp, white teeth showing.

Strengthened by the callous response of the man, and by the support garnered from the Felidiae swordsman and the spearsman maneuvering behind Sparta, Alis merely tightened her grip on her bow. A thin beam of silver light projected upward from her bracer along a perpendicular path with the ground, as a tiny gold crosspoint rose up to rest atop the beam. Alis' left eye closed as she looked through her magical aiming-device.
*Tick... tickk* creaked the recurve arms of the weapon as her grip tightened around it's string. Not the most formidible bow, to be sure, but the priestess didn't need the weapon itself to be powerful.

Kal walked into the town. He was tired, and thirsty. Not hungry though, which was odd. Boldly, he strolled on through the streets, his bow lying easily across his shoulder. Then he heard some general noises of panic. Screaming, yelling, crying, looting, those damn teenagers taking advantage of the distraction. Eager to see if it was murder by sword, and thus a possible teacher, Kal hussled along.
Then he saw a very bloody murder in the streets.
"Hmmm..." said he, "I do believe this is not a good thing."
Thus, he smoothly dropped his bow down, and drew an arrow from his quiver. He noted a new person stepped from the shadows and put an arrow into the back of someone who was seeking a peaceful resolution. Well, that simply wouldn't do. Instead of aiming for a kill-shot, Kal aimed his arrow on the not-so-invisible-anymore guy's hand. Right through the tendon, he drops the blade.

With that and and a quick flick of his hand Sparta turned and headed for the nearest inn, hands ready to draw his sword were anyone to attack him, be it the priestess, felines or tiny woman.

She wondered what to do next. She could just back out of this whole situation, but then what? All she'd be doing is fighting dragons, and if what the woman with the red eyes said was true...
"Nice to meet you all! My name's Elaina!"
Neesha turned to see Elaina, looking like the prime spokeswoman for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. But energetic and crazy as she was, Neesha thought she had the right idea.

She took a deep breath and continued.
"Then she got all angry and jumped on the guy and scratched him. That's when me and Neesha showed up and I challenged one of the guys whie Neesha held another. I blew up my guy's leg when other cat guy came over and threadtened the guy Neesha was holding. After everyone saw me blow his leg up, the thug guys ran away and this loon over here in the white said he's some 'chosen one'."
Another breath.
"Also, healer lady healed the guy who had the blown up leg. After that, some guy wearing bones completely slaughtered one of the running away guys and it got healer lady all angry and she aimed her bow at him and then I think you came in and a lot of people got all mad at him, but he ran away and then you asked me that question and I answered!"

Free of the woman's graps, Ailden turned to the seemingly saner people in the group. "Does anyone if any of these inns are any good? I can't seem to find the one I was in the last time I was here...and I don't remember it's name."

Robert was down on one knee, examining the thugs. Most people would think he would be lightening their pockets, but something caught Robert's eye. There were claw marks on the thugs, which was strange because everyone seem to have a sword. There was also the fact that Draca was adjusting her robe as she left. Could mean she was just uncomfortable, but Robert didn't want to just stand around and think that was what it was.
He got up, "Excuse me, I've got to check on something." Robert said, walking off. He was heading off in the direction of Draca actually. Besides, Robert has seen claw marks, and that attack was made with dragon claws. He walked on, noticing someone moving on the rooftops. Dumbass, those roofs will never hold him. Neesha has a decision to make. Because of Elaina's gold, Neesha would have a roof over her head and felt at least obligated to stay with Elaina for a while. On the other hand, the words of the red-eyed girl still stuck in Neesha's head. She felt kind of stupid for not thinking about it before, but Neesha didn't deny it...
"I could have been targeting innocent dragons all this time simply because they were in the sky above my burning hometown."
Neesha distanced herself from the party and figured the village might hold a library or something. She tended to look stupid, but she did know how to read even though it'd be terribly boring. Ailden's gaze shifted back and forth. Alright...I guess no one is big on giving directions...
He began to consider his choices for escape. He was afraid that if he tried saying good-bye, the perky girl would do something.
He wasn't quite sure what, but he didn't really want to find out.
As he scanned the group, he noticed a few people missing. Well, I guess I just sneak away, then.

Safely away, Ailden continued to walk. His stomach growled, protesting the fact it hadn't been satisfied yet. Again, he found himself wondering what the name of the inn he had stayed at before was. It was ridiculously easy to find books about dragons.
It was exhaustingly difficult to find material relevant to what Neesha needed.
"Myths. Stories. Biology. Cookbooks. Lore. I'm beginning to think coming to the library was the single dumbest thing I've done all year."

A warm hand came against Neesha's shoulder and shook her gently. She woke up normally, stretched, and turned to see who had awoken her.
"You don't look like someone who comes to libraries often, huh?"
She was a attractive young woman with braided jet black hair, faded green eyes, glasses, and simple yet functional clothing. Neesha yawned, then looked at the book she was sleeping on to make sure she didn't get any drool on it. "What gave you that idea?"
"I'd have to say it's your muscles and great tan." The girl responded, smiling slightly. "Oh, my name is Ciria. I guess you could say I research stuff."
Neesha took Ciria's hand in hers gently, not wanting to break it. "Mine is Neesha." Neesha said, then thought about some kind of official job title for herself. "I guess you could say I'm a traveling hunter...of dragons."
The words of Draca ran through her mind. "But I'm having second thoughts about that way of life. So I came here to learn more about dragons."
Ciria was thoughtful. "You don't look like the type of person who hunts them for sport or money."
"They burned down my hometown of Listrum. Friends. Family. My boyfriend. All killed by fire. But all I saw was the village and the dragons flying over it."
"Wow, that's horrible. Well, you know what they say about passion. It can really overcome you, making you focus on one thing and discarding everything else as irrelevant until you've found the closure you're seeking."
Neesha found that to be somewhat unflattering, but insightful nonetheless. Yeah, she was consumed by rage when she saw those flames, when she found her parents, or what was left of them in the blaze. She was just so furious that her simple and easy life had suddenly made a huge change that she couldn't focus on anything else but making every dragon she could find answer for the sins of just a few.
"I'm sorry. I don't want you to feel bad about the life you've lived for what has to be years and years."
Neesha closed her book. "It's all right. I take some solace in the fact that I can admit I'm wrong. ...If that's anything."
Ciria stood up with Neesha. "Where're you going?"
"To find someplace outside town to sleep. I have to talk to someone in this town in the morning."
"Well, why don't you stay at my house?"
Neesha faced Ciria. "You're going to allow a woman you've only met for a short while to stay the night at your house?"
"Call it a personal fault, but it's one you can capitalize on. I'll even make breakfast the next morning."
Neesha would be a fool not to accept Ciria's offer. "Okay, but only for one night. I don't want to get used to having a roof over my head every night and a prepared meal in the morning."
Ciria nodded wordlessly, put away the book on herbs she had taken out, and waited for Neesha to finish up. Neesha figured that asking the red-eyed girl was the best, if not the only way to find out the true nature of dragons. The two young women stepped out into the village. "My house isn't far. Draca shook her head, and hurried along. Along the way, there was a woosh sound through the treetops, and Draca stopped. Landing in front of her was a red dragon, standing about 9 feet high. "Hello Dad, what brought you here?" She asked, smiling at him.

Neesha looked around the moment she stepped into Ciria's house. It reminded me her a lot of the home she lived in during her childhood at Listrum. Except for the fact that her family didn't live here, it was pretty nostalgic. "There's a guest bedroom you can stay in. It's used by people who come to see my father. However, since he isn't here, nobody's going to be using it for some time."
"Your father? What does he do?"
"He's a physician. And a psychiatrist. And he's performed surgery a few times before. I guess he's kind of a jack-of-all-trades when something ailes you."
Ciria got to work in the kitchen, making some tea. "What about your father?"
Neesha took a seat on a couch. "Before his death, he was a lumberjack and builder. Sometimes, he was called out to help harvest when a worker was sick. He was also the chief, but the village was self-sufficient and not a lot of big decisions needed to be made. Those choices were handled by my mother."
"So you're the Listrum mayor's daughter?"
"Yes, but the title isn't worth anything by the fact that Listrum was pretty much just a settlement, not even marked on the maps I've seen of the local region. There wasn't anything like an economy. We all shared what we produced, and we didn't answer to higher powers of that region."
"No wonder I've never heard of the place. Ah, the tea is ready."
Neesha and Ciria sat down, had their tea, and eventually retired for the evening.

Robert noticed the shadow flying across the ground, and looked behind him to see the dragon going off into the distance. Though it landed, and on Draca's path at that. "Hmmmmmm, interesting." Robert said. He looked to Kal. "If you want to do something about this, go ahead. I'll confront her in the morning about it." Robert said, and walked on, heading too the inn to retire for the night, and to plan for the next day.

After a quick exchange of pleasantries with the Inn clerk, that had something to do about him calling her "Little lady" and her scaring the hell out of him to get a free room with something she said, Elaina went up to her room...
"Yay! Bed!" her gleeful voice piercing the walls of the inn as the clanging of her sword hitting the floor and a loud crack followed by, "OOPS!" came after.
In about two minutes, she had "Mended" the floor by shoving the bed over the gaping hole she left.
She hopped in the bed and fell asleep, sleepily giggling something about funny explosions and silly people screaming.

Alis walked into the inn shortly after Elaina, and ordered a similar room, perhaps directly next to hers given the timeframe alotted. The priestess spent a little time in the common room however, thinking to herself about her mission, and perhaps having some idle chat with Suroz, if he was in the mood for talking. He probably wasn't.
"Hm. I wonder where that woman Elain- The young priestess began to think, before a scream of, "YAY, BED!" and a deafening crack resounded throughout the inn.
A massive hole broke open above Alis' head, nearly injuring her with the falling debris. Several patrons screamed in shock, but the young priestess merely smacked her head in embarassment.
"OOPS!"
"Today is going to be a very long, very difficult day."

A few of the people who had been involved in the "incedent" outside entered the inn, The small lass who had blowen a large chunk from one of the thugs entered with reckless abandon, After watching her laugh at half the patrons, and a discussion with the inn keeper that sent all blood draining from his face, Not to mention landing her a free room for the night, Balta decided sleep was on the cards for himself also.
Making his way upto his room Balta opened the door and started to enter when an explosion from one of the rooms echoed thru the hall, The voice that followed it was of the same small lass.
Shaking his head Balta entered the room, Made his arrangments so he wouldn't be "interupted" during his nights sleep, Then entered the trance his clan entered, A form of sleep that left one more aware of situations arround him, Yet rested him fully.

Ignored.
Tybalt wasn't used to it, and found it unpleasant. Nonetheless, he supposed they had things of their own to attend to. So...he departed with a tip of his hat and a flourish of his cape, to the sumptuous banquet held in his honor at the Lord's manor, during which he flirted with several attractive young women, and after which he recuperated from his travels in a wonderful featherbed.

*Thump* "Ugh, the nerve of some people," Derrick said, only half awake from the noise. (He'd fallen asleep awhile ago (it's to add humor to the post)) The next thing he said was shouted in a very un-knightly manner,"Could you quiet it down just a BIT?! Some people like to get to sleep early!"
Little did our graceful-as-a-drunken-ox-on-rollerblades-sleeper know, that that thump in the room next to him was Elaina sending a chunk of her floor right towards Alis, who was in the room on the floor beneath his.
