what happened to the flash version?

i was introduced to 8-bit via the flash version, and i realized that its INCREDIBLY behind the comic. did the flash artist stop making them, or what?

Well, the creation of the Flash series is currently in hiatus, I think. And beside that a Flash as good as they is often difficult to make, so that it consumes a lot of time to be created.

They are working on it. I remember them saying that they were aiming for August through November this year. Remember, it takes hours to make about 30 seconds of video.

The whole point of the animated movies is because its fun to see the comics brought to life, and voiced. However, it isn't like making one of those things is easy. In the time it takes to produce just one of those movies, I think Brian could at least produce 12 comics (if not a whole slew more).

The idea that the movies need to be keeping up with the comics is just plain silly. It isn't going to happen, so just deal with it. And the simple fact is, its more than likely that not every single comic will get animated. I'd just be happy if the animated movies got to the point of Garland's defeat & called it quits there.

I still thinks that woudl be great fun and maybe easier to work if instead of following the Storyline the Flash videos were made about the major/best parts of the whole comic.. after all... its just not going to be made 100% of it anyways... at least woudl be lots of fun to see certain parts of it... specially the Fiends and after the Class change

Either way, the begging is harder as brian use a LOT more of text than on later comics... thats a real problem for the Lash version

I'd especially like to see a re-make of BB's death. In comic, it was entirely too rushed & mostly off camera. I'd like to see BB at least put up a fight. I'd also like to see a montage where ghost BB travels around to the theme of 'How far is it to heaven?' afterwards.

I mean a few offers... ok ONE offer to contuine the series and if said person decieds to take up the raines I have already told them I am behind them one hundred percent. I feel it is to early to name names until we have a confirmation on this but even if he/she/it backs out I am sure another will step up to take on the task.

The series is not dead or passed on, it is just hibernating.

Stuff's happening, sort of. We're making big changes, but we're getting used to a new animator, and working around school and jobs.

p.s. If I have anything to say about it, I'm going to make dead sure that we animate every comic, because...I want to.

I second the best idea ever. black belt was my favorite character, and as awesome as his reflective strip was, it did feel kinda rushed. seeing more put into that would be very cool.

It'd be cool to see the animated strips focus on a 'best of' approach - focus on the episodes where it would really bring things to life, sort of a deal. Like, you could probably do a great job of the Orgy of Violence, or that meteor obliterating Dwarfland, or the environmental devestation caused by Mountain Dew. Hell, even just that one of the blue chocobos running across the ocean could be great.

that would be impossible. I have contemplated myself on how to do it and it just seems to hard to do. Maybe if it were to be done up to the rescue of Sara and destruction of Pontera.
