So... I took a tut on these, I dunno if they came out OK or not, but there will be more to come. I'll animate them after I get 10 or so.

I'm not seeing a lot of variety in these. The light reflection is a nice touch.

Try applying the tutorials with different shapes. Circular, ovoid, triangle, etc.

Tutorials give the general idea of what to do. The rest depends on....YOU! [gasp!]

Where exactly are these supposed to be used again?

In one's sig on forums that have sig images enabled. :p

then the irony of posting them here, on the only forum I know of that has them disabled, is ginormous. :P

I like 'em, they look good. if this is your first go-round with them, good job; they look good. As you gain more experience with it, I'm sure you'll be making all kinds of image siggies, probably lots of Anime ones too. :P stupid anime and ruling the world.

I've already made bunches of anime siggies. This is my first go-round with userbars though. Funny I forgot that sig images were disabled here; I was just sort of throwing my pics up on a bunch of forums.

Not bad.

Don't listen to Grandmaster. He's never even heard of the word Photoshop. :p

However, I do agree with him that most of your sigs follow the same template. Your firefox one's overlaying light layer runs off of the image. Emulation is the path to learning. Try out some tutorials (www.good-tutorials.com is a good starting point), and try to pick a wide variety of styles. Eventually, you'll be able to just look at an image and figure out how it was made.

Photoshop filters are good for beginners, but I've found that as I became more and more proficient, I used filters less and less. I hardly use them at all save guassian and motion blur.

Well, tonight I'm going to combine them all into one animation. The temple is more or less necessarily the same in that case. Firefox one will be easy to fix, I just have the light thing a layer too high.

Perhaps I should work on my sarcasm. I should have thrown in some LOLs and the like.

If you want photoshop advice, ask the bearded trashcan.

I've seen these userbar images before on another forum, but I forgets.
It was recently though.

Hmmmmm.

Yeah I know I didn't see these ones in particular, put those of a similar style have been popping up in places.

But just - why post them here? You can't display them. No one can.
