I'm writing a story, and I thought I'd include images. Perhaps not the greatest thing ever, but it was made using entirely simplistic photoshop techniques, all with pictures from google images. I think it turned out very nicely. What do ya'll think?

I give you...Biodominika.

Now I really need some fuggin' sleep.

I like the style. Reminds me of something, but I can't really put my finger on it.

Does the person on the right lack anti-aliasing intentionally? Looks a bit off.

I was going for a "pre-cataclysm"-type corporation that facilitates the growth of the booming Biodome industry. Think, Fallout. I also forgot to add the crucial black border. Pulls it all together, aesthetically. Imagine seeing stickers of this all over the city, or being handed little slips of this little ad. A little hard to see on NPF, so you might want to right click this thang and "view image." Or click it.

I blurred the woman a bit, on Meister's advice. Is it too much? Too little? Too noticable?

Danke.

Invest intelligently with Biodominika.
Because we care about your future.

Heheh, it seriously reminds me of one of those animated commercials for Prudential or something. But, I'm really interested in this story. Very nice photoshopping.

[Edit] And the new blurring may be a bit much. I'd say take the original image and make the woman's color a slightly lighter shade a black, almost a grey, to even her out with the guy.

Me likes.

But, you know me, I can't pass up a chance to try something in photoshop.

Photoshop is my antidrug. And landscapes (or any form of scape) are my forte.

I made a very nice gif combining and modifying the two images, but I can't seem to find anywhere to host it.

The word Photoshop pulls me to a subject like a moth to a lightbulb. It is inevitable.

Locke, I'm liking the idea of image smashing and mass contrasting..may have to tinker a bit with it. Anywho back to the subject.. overall image the blurring of only the person on the right throws the whole thing off balance. Everything is hardedged and then bammo theres a fuzzy person.

My suggestion would be to use the Blur filter once or twice. Maybe gaussian if you keep the pixel blur down low.
