BM has been left behind!!! I'd hazard a guess that however he catches back up with the group, it will be extremely painful and/or humiliating.
And what if he doesn't find them again, at least not right away? How might BM spend his leisure time?

Hopefully this means that the natural order that should have been established way back when (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=010611) will finally come to fruition. I can totally see Brian omitting Black Mage from the next hundred episodes for sheer comic superiority.

These are the comics I like, less murder and destruction, and quiet laughter at the incomptence of the LW.

We asked for more White mage, and it appears we shall get her. LIke, the next adventure will have more White magic action, and perhaps White Mage coming to grips with the other lightwarrior's newfound powers, and character growth!...
Nah.

Our resident comic-maker has said so.
Also, I think it would rock if for the next about 10 comics, black mage was walking about, trying to find a town while running into endless hordes of monsters, and just as one comes into sight, the airsub lands on top of him.

Yes, and the armoire fell on fighter, just like bm wanted it too, but i reckon it will be quickly resolved by bm rejoining the group against his will.

We're on predictions now? BM will be missing just long enough for WM to think she's a destined warrior insted of BM. Then, everything will go horribly wrong, and BM (by acident or agienst his will) will show up and save the day, so WM knows BM is a destined warrior.

And this is starting to feel like a VERY major storyline. Many times has the idea of WM replacing BM been brought up.
That's the first thing i thought. When I saw him staying alone, all the theories that have been said came to my mind: "There's a WM instead of a BM in the Real LW", "BM will become an enemy", "Fighter vs Black Mage", the sub-plot of Swordopolis vs Magus (and their chosen warriors),...
Anyway, things could get _really_ interesting from now on.
I laughed and laughed at the comic. The I clicked the link to the comic and laughed some more. And is it just a coincidece that the title is a rather (in)famous term in Canada. =P

If he's where I think he is in the game, he's actually surrounded on all sides by mountains, next to the town of Gaia. I say this because that one person asked him, "How did you get this far north?" But there's no way to be sure because NPCs from other towns talked to him too.

It's probably an inside joke.
My prediction is that BM will just begin to be happy after a comic or two when his happiness is torn from him and replaced with even MORE torment. I agree with the "Fighter went down the hole looking for BM" theory, but Brian will probably do something that nobody here has the right level of insanity to think of.

Is there any significance between the fact that BM was left behind, and the latest Left Behind book was released today? (Y'know that rapture series).
Also, I'm somewhat annoyed. Does Thief's comments in today's comic mean that the back door ramp sprites I created for the Death Trap were entirely for nothing? Or is it just that Thief is completely unaware of the Death Trap's abilty to rear load cargo?

Hypothesis: the Light Warriors are the Lite Warriors... from the future.
Note how the current adventuring party is now Thief, Red Mage, Fighter, and White Mage, where the real Light Warriors happen to be Knight, Ninja, Red Wizard, and White Wizard.
I also suspect the artist is now interested in making Black Mage just a supporting character from now on. If he's run out of steam, reworking the group chemistry might work well.

You know, everyone might actually be happy now - except for Fighter, that is.
Thief and Red Mage now have White Mage on their side, who they've said before they would prefer as a teammate.
White Mage can now stick close to the Light Warriors and affect destiny with an easy heart, as she is now a member of the team.
Black Mage is rid of the rest of the team, which he despises in all its parts.
Only Fighter is going to be upset over losing 'his best buddy'.
...
With BM's luck, though, he'll meet the others again very soon.

This is what I was looking for. You see, all you guys are like "BM will probably join up with the party, guhyuck!", but if you really, really want to see BM on his own, just say "wouldn't it be completely awesome if he went off on his own and had a few adventures?". I mean, I think it would be cool to seperate BM from the party for an extended time.
Okay, the next page had everyone saying BM would be off the team for a while, but still! My point stands, shouldn't BM be off the team for a long time?

True, most of the things the NPCs say are from other places, but the third NPC in this comic (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=060511) says the he can't understand the languge that they speak in Lefein, which may indicate that they are close to that, and the only town close to Lefeim is Gaia.

Brian is not so close-minded that if he has an idea, and someone else comes up with it, he is not about to disregard it entirely. Perhaps other authors have this method of writing, but Brian knows what he's doing, and though the opinions of readers can affect the comic, he's not about to just kill an idea because it was brought up.
