http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=050528 Sarda removes one of BM's bones, so which one is it? Yes, I know its a one-time joke, but still, which one?
He don't, He is just threatning him.

Hm, apparently I made the same mistake. I thought he was presenting BM with a bone, when in fact he was pointing to one.

I don't think he was pointing at a... bone. I think he was pointing to the body part that can be refered to as a bone, when in fact, it contains little calcium.
That's about as evasive as I can be.
Besides, with Sarda, the only difference between threats and carried out attacks is if it's BM or one of the others. He probably -did- have a bone, or an illusion of one that he showed to BM and not us.

I always assumed he had taken a bone, though the joke works either way. Which bone was it? I dunno. Neither does Black Mage. It's funnier that way.

I always assumed he had taken a bone.
Assume? You created the comicXD

Yeah, but due to the somewhat vague images available to the comic, and my penchant for off-camera actions, and different-but-valid interpretations of dialogue, certain liberties can be taken. I meant for the random bone to be taken out, but nothing on the page necessarily invalidates the idea that Sarda is merely pointing at one threateningly.

If it was a bone, would BM have run away without at least falling over?
"Oh, is that mine? oh keep it, i have over 200!"

Mmm, bones.
But with that said, I still think he was point at a bone. Wait, he was too far away! No wait, he's too close. Argh, I'm getting confuzzled.

Hmm, if he had actually taken a bone he would have been contradicting himself, right? He says "That'll save me the effort of disassotiating your bones from your body". But of course, stupidity trumps continuity so my view can be false.
However, BM hurries to see the transportation means and uses the term he mocked Sarda of using (or at least tries to), so it's quite safe IMO to assume that it was a threat (since BM obviously wants to get the hell away from Sarda as fast as possible and is not interested the least bit on their means of transport).

No. He's saying it would save him the effort of removing all of Black Mage's bones. As an example he takes one, perhaps to show how little "effort" it actually requires.

Yeah, but BM runs away afterwards in a way it seems you wanted it to seem more as a threat. I could be totally wrong though, but the next panel gives the impression of it being a threat than actually BM losing a bone.

Having one of your bones effortlessly taken out as an example of how easy it'd be to remove the rest isn't a threat?

Hell, I feel threatened just thinking about it...

Sure, but it would make more sense (what sense?) if BM was saying praising words about their new means of transport instead of just running away to get to Sarda's good side (hey, he needs that bone, right?). But of course, that's just me. You said yourself you aren't sure, so we are free to assume what we want, right?.
And i have the feeling that BM would become a bit "dysfunctional" with a bone less...

Um... how much more dysfunctional can he actually get?

Well, let's factor in all of BMs functions:
Maturity-1%
"Game"-.5%
living-2%
Murderer-96.5%
So I figure It would be taken out of the Living percentages

There is always room for improvement, so there is always room for the opposite of improvement, I guess. Well, BM is good at doing evil things, so he would get worse at doing evil things.

Was I the only one that assumed he put the bone back after the threat?
