Word has it Crystal Sky (http://www.crystal-sky.com/) actually will be making a Pac Man movie. Google (http://www.google.com/search?hs=S0B&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial_s&q=%22crystal+sky%22+%22pac+man%22&btnG=Search) seems to back me up.

As to the trailer, well...just, wow. I'm not amazed by how they made it (though it was hilarious), but the concept is incredible.

Where is the background music from, anyway? I like it. Is it a remix of oldschool Pac Man music or something?

Well, I assume it is. There are several different joke trailers for Pac Man on YouTube, and I didn't find any reference to it on the Crystal Sky site myself (hence the Google link), suggesting they haven't really started work on it yet.

Besides, a real studio would at least have better ghosts and some original lines for the hero.

Funny, though I kind of wish they had turned the "pacman" into an actual pacman effect like the ghosts. On the other hand, I guess its funny to brutalize the whole idea of it even more by making Pacman this guy in a yellow motorcycling suit.
