C'mon... dont start with me... you all knew that name threads were change forever after Wii...
I saw the Analog Controler, The classic controle, and the Pistol...
but its such a great field for addons, that i wish to know more off what is crawling you little fancyfull minds about Wii (The console not the penis ) Addons...
One of the first that came to mind for me was a Sniper Scope... like the gun, but long... for Hunting games, maybe sniper-action games... you would hold your gun looking at the screen normally, but the addon would have a Small Screen in the Shape of a scope, an when you look at it, you seen a Zoomed in version of wherever area your control is pointing at... adding a Secon Rumble Pack for more impact an using the Wiimote Speaker, this coul create a REALLY realistic feel for hunting games... WWII Snipers and Such...
A remake of the SNES Bazooka(Damn, i had a lot of fun with this one)?

All of these upgrades are great, but won't you have to use most of them to just play the games?? Every single Wii playthrough had what I believe was the analog controller added in order to play. I just hope that these will:
A) be really cheap
or
B) be included when you buy the Wii system.
Either that, or what Nintendo could do is have certain necessary add-ons be included in the game. For example, Star Fox 64 had the Rumble Pak with it when you bought it. (Though, the Rumble Pak wasnt needed to play the game.)
I'm just wondering how Nintendo is gonna handle the sale of these accessories.

This isn't really a peripheral, but I was thinking that a really great use of the Wiimote as a walkie-talkie in team shooters. It looks just like one and has a mic in it...

Uhnn a headset (With Mic and Speakers) with a Visor who tells you, your status and team status, as a Addon to the Wiimote would make games like Ghost recon ROCK

The SNES bazooka was called the Super Scope.
It is one of the items you can use in SSBM.
It looks like a bazooka but is too small.

I think the visor might be pushin' it technology and price wise.
A similar item was made for the SNES but it was only compatable for one game.

The VG cats comic. "I feel dirty" *vibrate*
Anyway, the super scope would be awesome. And a visor and helmet would be sweet.

Look I'm not saying that if someone built a real live working Power Glove, I'd get down on my knees and blow them.
I'm just saying if someone came up to me and said "hey, I want to put my cock in your mouth," and I was in the middle of being like "Yeah well I'll tell you where you can put your-" and he was like "Incidentally and on a totally tangental note, I'm the guy who built a fo-reals working Power Glove," I'd probably have to be like, you know, I think I owe him this one.

I wish I could quote that whole thing in my sig, but I think I'll take it out of context, and make you want to blow someone. >=D
Anyways, top attachments: Sword, Nunchuk, Shield (could work well in Twilight Princess), Screen (like a top screen for the DS, or a bottom screen, depending on the game, y'know, extra info 'n stuff), Vibrator (hentai games go crazy over there, right? ;) )
Oh, and a joystick for flight games would be nice.

Ok I think we should have dual wielding controlers. Like one as a shield or another sword.
Thing is the way its designed, you dont need most attachments. Though I do see how a shot-gun like attachment *cough*residentevil*cough* would feel more natural then the normal controler

To have a shield or any other type of attachment like that is completely unreasonable. its just that how many games will use it?
its not that they wouldnt be mad to have - its just that it would be completely unfeasible to create an addon for every type of game that comes out. I know nintendo has done it before (like that PKMN cartridge for N64 - but even that had uses for a couple of other games), but the wiimote can be used to represent other stuff as well. I'm sure they'll be able to incorporate shield usage and other stuff fluidly into the games.
NOTE: I read somewhere that in swordfighting games (such as Red Steel) you'll be able to use two wiimotes for double sword simulation.
NOTE2: The Light Gun Shell for the wiimote (see here (http://revolution.ign.com/articles/707/707077p1.html)) allows the user to point at the screen and use the anolog stick on the back to move around.
NOTE3: Vibrators would only appeal to, at most, half the possible audience. Plus, the sale and use of them would only be applicable in japan (unless you're an importer)
Vibrator (hentai games go crazy over there, right? ;) )
hehehe
I say bring back some more of the classics like the power glove and the super scope.

I think the wii remote is perfect as it is. I know that the analog add-on comes with the system as part of the package, and the gun add-on really covers everything else.
Maybe the wire that connects the remote to the analog add-on should be longer. I'm afraid that it won't be long enough, and I'll rip it apart somehow. Maybe it should just be completely wireless.
As for the Power Glove... just no, and let's not ever speak of it again.

About red steel... How it worked, IIRC, is that although you had just a sword, you'd use the wiimote for attacks and the attachment to defend yourself. Sort of a sword and shield configuration, except you've only got a sword to work with.

I think someone actually made this exact point. Making the addons not necessary, but having the optional addons so certain motions feel more natural, realistic etc. I.E. I don't need a shield attachement, but if I wanted to dish out extra money to have a shield attachment I could strap onto my arm and use, rather than waving around my wiimote to represent the motions of my shield, I could go get one.

Good point, but I was actually thinking that some games could work really good with a shield attachment. Y'know, games that used shields, or even partial energy shields would work well with it, plus it could also be used as a blocking arm (maybe make it fold up, and be more moveable like that?)
But, yeah, I'll go with the Hack Mage.

a Guitar attachment coudl be fun AND usefull... but just in one of those cases where the attchment is for "a" game...
Other then that... like the mane PSP Cases, nintendo would gain populairty if people could "cas mod" their Wiimotes and Attchments
