As I was reading the old comics, I noticed a rather disturbing trend. Everytime the Lite Warriors go up against a fiend, some main character dies. For Lich it was Black Mage (though he was revived) and Kary it was Black Belt. Who do you think Brian/Kurosen will off next?

I have this theory... well, not a theory really, more like a random idea... that Black Belt and Fighter are one and the same. At some future point Fighter gets a second class change (into Black Belt) and somehow goes back in time as the Black Belt who fought with White Mage (creating a predestination paradox, which is what prevents Fighter from dying now). Thus, Kary actually killed Fighter. Therefore, we only have Red Mage and Thief to go before all of the Light Warriors die (without actually being removed from the comic). I think Thief is next, and he'll revive himself by stealing his own HP from the future.

Or... I could be making all that up as I go.

Technically Thief hasn't "died" yet, but HAS gone into a limbo of Near death where he almost died.

I think Black Belt's much worse than Fighter, personally. Besides, Fighter could never surrender his swords to a mere class change...

Actually, haven't ALL the Lite Warriors died already? As I recall, Black Mage butchered them all when Sarda first told them about making a sacrifice to gain greater power. Of course, Sarda brought them all back to life, but that's besides the point, isn't it?

Oh what a morbid bunch we're becoming. Although, I think that at some point the Dark Warriors are going to end up way in over their head with Chaos or a similar demon, and the results won't be pretty fro Garland and co.

This may be becoming a forum cliche, but honestly, fighter can't die. And even if he does die, Swordopolis will be able to bring him back, like in the drowning episode, so that he didn't die.

Really, the whole BM dying thing was for comic effect, and BB wasn't a Light warrior. Also, I tend to think that Brian hated the character.

She's gotten plenty of blood on her robes before, remeber BB's rapid head bleeding tramua thingy?

And Swordopolis can bring Fighter back, so long as he can remeber to carry the two next time. >_<
