So, FFIII is getting a makeover and a port to the DS...

I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT.

As a nintendo fanboy, I never had the luxury of owning a ps, or ps2, and wasn't around back when the original FFIII was released, so, if this game is as good as it was made out to be, god bless me.

The original FF3 was never released in North America so it will be good to finally get to play it.

In case you're baffled, MFok, the Final Fantasy III they're remaking is the Japanese FFIII, which never reached American shores, evar.

However, there IS a confirmed port of FFVI (The one with Locke, Kefka, etc) in the making, though that's literally all there is to say about it.

I gotta say, I love the Crystal Chronicles aesthetic. I remember when CC first came out I'd listen to the music and just look at screenshots--that yellow tint, that medieval, fanciful world...

I'm debating whether or not to buy the game when I'm in Japan and play through it slowly in Japanese, buy the American version when it comes out, play the original NES version (or the Wonderswan one), or do it fucking all.

Only time will tell.

Of course, I have a PS2, Xbox (both gifts, ironically) and they house some of the Best (FFX, X-2)

I still don't get why the hell they've waited this long to release FF4 on GBA, let alone FF5 and 6. A lot of lost sales and unhappy fans who want their fuckin' SNES ports.
