I recently picked up a copy of Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron, and Ghost World shortly after and loved them both (although Like a Velvet Glove was easily my favorite).

Can anyone else recommend a book of the similiar style?

Is 'velvet glove' the one where, like, the world ends, and there's like a kid on an island, something like that?

I just remember one book of his I read once that was something like that. Altogether weird.
