Avatar Problem

I don't know why this is happening, but i'm trying to change my avatar and my internet browser sits there for a second and i keep getting a connection error. I tried changing it on Firefox and IE but neither of them worked. Everything else on the site works fine though.

I, too, have come across this. Uploading hangs. All other functions are fine.

And now, about 3 hours after i tried to upload it, it shows up as my avatar. Somethings going on here.

Probably just an internal server error which sorted itself out. Pierre's been Doing Stuff slowly over time.

Long as it uploaded in the end, cool. If the problem persists though I'll bring it up to the man himself.

Oh, interesting. I hadn't thought to check again some time after I did it, as mine is also changed. Apologies for unnecessarily bumping.

As a heads up, it seems this problem has resurfaced, because I've tried uploading a new avatar tonight, and it's just no go. Seeing as how it's a month later, perhaps this is a bit of a problem. It won't let me upload directly, nor from a URL. I tried it in both Opera 8.54 and the IE 7 beta, and niether would work. I can upload the image to other places, so I've also eliminated that possibility. Might warrent a little investigation.

EDIT (11 hours later): It works now.
