What comic was Brian on when you started to read 8-bit theater? When I first came here, the newest comic was Episode 229: Blast off (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=021224). Black mage acted insane and smart enough to like him. That comic got me to read all the archived comics and become a fan of 8-bit.

once a very long time ago i glanced at the comic and thought it look dumb and had no wish to read it (they were in elfland)
but then i kept hearing things about it so i thought i'd just start at the begining and see how far i got. I don't know what comic was up because I didn't let myself look at the new ones becauese i didn't was to know how close i was to catchting up. Once i did look, and they were in the ice cave.

They'd just crashed into the radio tower before going in to the Palce of Ordeals, I think it was the one where Swordopolis was possessing that guy......

I came in at "Episode 566: Spelunk'd!". I had read everything up until then, but that's where I joined the ranks of waiting until midnight on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Actually, I only have to wait until 9pm on Monday, Wednsday, and Friday since I'm on the west coast. Yay 3 hour differences!

I don't think I read the latest one when I first started. I just read from the beginning...
And eventually ended up here (http://nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=040911). Then I had to wait a bit for the extremely satisfying content that came directly after it...

Hmm...I think I first noticed the comic around...here (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=040918). Not the greatest starting point. After that, I started reading the archives a few weeks/months later. Got about 200 comics in, then got bored :sweatdrop. Then, way later on, I got back into it and read all the way from the beginning to the most current comic at the time (which was somewhere around 600 I think).

I never really read the comic that was presented that day I first discovered 8-bit...I went on it, but when I saw ''first comic'', I went on it directly without reading the comic I was on.So, in about two weeks, I had read them all and the comic was around 630, if I'm not mistaken...then, I had to wait every tuesday, thursday and saturday at midnight for the comic to come on:(

I started reading around Comic 20. I thought it was a cute comic, but I stopped reading for a while after the comic where White Mage is introduced. I came back when Garland was about to dump the Light Warriors in a vat of Mountain Dew, and I was like, "What the hell is going on? The comic looks so fancy now."

By the time i caught up with the most recent comic (which took about 2 days) it was the one where Black Mage returns from Hell.
I specifically remember when I started reading, as it was 499, and I was expecting some sort of special comic for 500. What a foolish fool I was.
I took plenty of time catching up, though, and by the time I'd finally plowed through the archives, the comic had progressed all the way to 528. I was depressed that I couldn't chug down twenty comics a day anymore, but through heavy life support I've survived.

I started reading somewhere when they were in the volcano. Don't know exactly, where though, since I started reading it all from the beginning.

Probably someone browsing the web who stumbles across 8-Bit Theater and sees a filler comic as the latest one will be like "WTF?!" and leave forever. Every time Brian (or any webcomic maker for that matter) makes a filler comic, they lose some potential fans.

I think Brian has only made 2 guest comics.

Sometime 'round two Februarys ago.
There need to be dates in the archives -_-
Been in the forums 6 months now, I think.
Edit: Due to my unrivaled genius, I can safely assume that this is about the area that I started reading.

I don't remember numbers, but it must have been about four and a half, five years ago. They were somewhere in the first dungeon or they'd just gotten out.
Ah, good times.

It's been quite awhile but I think it was back when they were doing the Survivor Style determining of who got to be light warriors (comics 20-40 or thereabouts) So many good memories :)
