Once again there was a very vehement argument in the near distance. It was clear that Rhiya had awoken and was discussing something heatedly with Raiden - while also perched on his shoulder.
Snatches of the conversation floated down to be heard.
"...say I should make Newb lose!"
"...shouldn't. You allowed him to have three forms..."
".... has Arena Advantage. He's not having much of an advantage now..."
"....doing the best he can..."
Then this was punctuated by a loud cry, "I don't CARE what you think, damnit! I'm doing it anyway!"
~~
BOOM!!
Unprepared and unwary a shockwave juddered through the arena, deafening both competitors for the rest of the fight and consequently snuffing out the fire as effectively as heavy rain. Both fighters clutched at their ears. from whence a bit of blood trickled out due to burst eardrums.
MagmaClaw staggered, and fell to its various knees, keening in pain at the sudden shock of a third attacker, as well as the sudden loss of all the elemental fire it had lovingly created.
The Arena still looked like it had a holy symbol carved into it, albeit slightly wonky and the grass a bit uprooted/flattened.
~~
Raiden opened and closed his mouth several times. Then, glowering at Rhiya, he crossed his arms.
".... You'd better have a good explanation for how you managed to get the God of Wind on your side."
"Yo."
"Hehehehe," Rhiya grinned a nasty grin.
Her laughter was cut short, however, as Otto plummeted towards the ground just before her. Although he was in meme form, he quickly materialized as he fell. He went into a crouching position, his right hand below his feet, his left above his head, and struck the ground hard, his hands switching places to add extra force. As he did so, a massive sonic boom, not unlike that which had rocked the holy field was released, although these individuals, being much hardier than the schizo mage or the summoner, were not deafened, merely left with severe tinnitus.
"I was told there would be no interruptions. I have left Aykro in the passenger seat with Kly, so he will not be lost with death, and I have brought along Ennig. It seems he doesn't approve of interruptions either. Anything to say for yourself before we kick your scaly behind?"
