Reminds me of another old comic I saw - clipped out of a newspaper I think -

Tonight was going good,
I ordered a couple of DVD's, Ana-Lucia is finally dead, I took out the trash with no pants...
And then Debora appears and it all falls apart...
And Cross Dressing sounds NOTHING like Cross Checking even when there is a ton of noise...
RM was just waiting for his perfect chance to make people suffer...
And so he has....

05-04-2006, 02:34 AM
You guys do realize you can wear a dress and still be straight, right? It just means that RM occasionally delves into transvestite territory.

I point towards Eddie Izzard. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Izzard)

And I think that's Fighter bending at the knees. With what he says, I get the image of a tv kid's host.

Anyone else notice that he didn't immediately try to smack Fighter for being annoying? Probably nothing, but I felt it was worth mentioning.

The Wandering God

Has Theif ever hurt Fighter?
He probably just assumed that Black Mage would do it, or that Fighter simply wasn't worth smacking.

greed
05-04-2006, 04:43 AM
Or Thief's smart enough to realise that smacking Fighter leads to one of several things

-Breaking his hand on the plate armour or Fighters head

-Fighter's block ability is an auto reflex now, and Thief's hand gets cut off by lightning fast blades before Fighter realises what he's doing, resulting in Thief stealing BM's newly reattatched hand, and RM as Debora dabbling in surgery again, and not even Thief or BM are evil enough to want that to happen to anyone or anything, let alone themselves.

I'm reminded of 3rd graders, hearing that two people kissed. One decides it's an "EEEEWWWW!" moment, and it goes down the line.

Soon, the poor teacher is surrounded by a mass of prepubescent children screaming "EWWW!!!" and rolling on the ground to show just how much more disgusted each one is than their neighbor.

Well, I was wondering when Red Mage's transvestite urges would strike again. I wonder if he has some feat or somesuch that makes getting into different clothes a partial or free action - I think this is the fastest crossdressing he's ever done.

Anyway, we have learned something about Fighter's psyche - in his mind, a "thank you" is not only appreciation, but encouragement to continue as well. He also seems to have a grasp of mnemonic devices, though, knowing him, he probably would give you a blank stare if you referred to them as such.

We also see that Black Mage doesn't have the strongest grasp of technology around. Not surprising there, seeing as he's devoted his life to the proactive annihilation of whatever and thus would have little time for things such as mechanical theory and airsub operation - as far as I can tell, he believes (quite possibly correctly) that any problem that confronts him that cannot be solved by excessive magical violence and/or stabbitification exists solely to make him miserable.

I'm not disgusted at the idea that Red Mage thought he had gender problems in the past. I'm not disgusted at the fact he's wearing a dress as he did three-hundred-something comics ago or less. In fact, I think it's a unique part of his ever-growing personality.

Why do I say ever-growing? Well, he did show absolute cruelty toward Chocobos by creating a crime against nature with them and fiddling with their genes.

Maybe he'll develop more of a cruelty toward other things while still being Debora.

Amusing lines all around. I can't help but love that little interaction between Thief and Fighter. And, of course, it makes me so happy to see the dress back. I particularily enjoy the fact that RM pushed Fighter out of the way to obey the command. He's just so eager!

Though, the rest of you are being pretty ridiculous about this. Cross dressing and homosexuality are NOT the same thing, remember? Red Mage has never shown any obvious interest in men. Or at least as far as I can remember. Prove me wrong if I am. But if you want to interpret things, sure, have fun. But remember, as far as we know, RM's straight as a slightly warped board.

I'm still drawing ThiefxRM slash, though.

I think this whole shock over RM crossdressing is absurd. Especially all the gay comments.

Homosexuality has nothing to do with crossdressing. In fact, most crossdressers are heterosexual men, a good portion of what's left are transsexuals (which could be debated aren't really crossdressing at all since they are really girls), and almost none are homosexuals.

You're most likely thinking of the loudest group of crossdressers, commonly known as drag queens. These aren't standard crossdressers, and are in reality, an extremely small portion of them. Drag queens are entertainers, usually homosexual, who crossdress as part of an act.

Drag Queens are about as accurate a representation of the standard crossdressing population as Hollywood is of the rest of America.

Simply put, Deborah is obviously not a drag queen, as she is not for anyone's entertainment. And she appears to not be something sexual. The only thing Deborah is, is something of comfort to RM, and possibly something just plain fun to do.

...

Now on the aspect of homosexuality. Being gay requires two things, and two things alone...

1. The subject is male.
2. The subject is sexually attracted to other males.

That's it. No matter how effeminate a man is, no matter how unmanly, no matter if he likes crossdressing, he isn't gay. He is gay if, and ONLY IF, he is sexually attracted to other men.

We have never seen Red Mage show any sexual interest in other men, so we cannot assume he is gay.

...

Now, deeper into RM's sexuality, I've yet to see him show any androphilia, much less gynephilia. Nor bisexuality, or even autophilia.

The sole basis on which we can guess at RM's sexuality is based on his crossdressing then. This is a very rough spreadout, as statistics vary widely on this subject. So rather than offer inaccurate percentages, I'll offer fractions.

3/5 hetrosexual male (straight)
9/25 transsexual female (MtF)
1/25 homosexual male (gay)

Fractions rule your world (not!). *yawn* Like I said, those are estimates only, but that means approximately 60% of crossdressers are straight males, around 35% are transsexuals, and 5% are gay.

...

So in conclusion: QUIT STERIOTYPING! (-_-*)

Okay, I've said my piece.

Jared Todd

Dammit! I really thought I was going to get away with it that time, but then you said "if he is sexually attracted to other men.".

But, really, if all the discussion is going to be about how RM is gay, and it takes up more posts than a normal topic when there isn't actually anything to talk about anyway, you guys are ridiculously sad (shut up, I know I'm an elitist prick, but I'm not an elitist prick that talks about stoopidyti!). Besides, all this talk about RM could easily go into a different topic. If all the posts solely about "Oh Em Gee Whut-ff!! Go Takari, whoot! I'm sorry Jared.

But for being on topic, well, that's always a major thing in these threads. Everyone should know that. If not, then they'd better learn quick...

Something seems off. Normally I don't think Fighter would say anything if in Thief's presence, and Thief saying that they should 'get this bird in the air'. Fighter'd probably stand there and think to himself instead, attempting to sort out what Thief meant by bird. Now it seems he's formed an individual opinion on the spot and made an argument, even if he still maintained his slight stupidity. Does anyone find this odd, or is it just me?

When RM said "Reporting for duty!" it was probably just because, Thief asked him to cross-dress (or so he thought) and now he's asking what Thief wants him to do in the dress. (Shut up, I know what yu're thinking you pervs)

When you said Deborah was something fun for RM to do, it reminded me of a little 5-year-old that walks around in a dress for fun.

BM and Fighter are straight, they like girls(EPS for Fighter, WM and to a lesser extent Kary (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=041023) for BM) then again there is this (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=041002) and this (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=051029) (but the formers just Fighter's naivty and the latter classifies as a cross between masturbation and necrophilia).

RM is not gay, he is something completely perverted that has nothing to do with his crossdressing (which isn't sexual, just wierd and caused by his fictional child abuse thanks to Thief),what he is, is something to do with Chocobo voyeurism (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=060321) ("I never said I had to")and experience (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=041221).

So yeah, guess who that leaves to be the statistically probable homosexual.
