Anyone heard of this anime title? This is another of my "Hey, Why Not" library finds that looked like it might be better than another day of Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? and Wheel of Fortune (which, in turn, is *slightly* better than sending the house current through one's genitals). I think this series was created by Narumi Kakinouchi, and it's apparently about one Miyu, the Vampire Princess charged with vanquishing the evil shape-shifting monsters and vampires, the Shinma, from the Earth.
So...anyone? Thoughts? Comments? Recommendations? Thanks in advance to anyone who does offer their two cents.

I've watched an episode of the dub but, I generally reserve opinions until I have either watched it all or seen a large portion of the series. Definately better than daytime TV though.
'Cept All My Children. AMC owns me.
God, I'm pathetic...

eh. It isn't the best anime around. The thing that bothered me the most is every character that Miyu is trying to "save" just dies at the end, for no real reason. There are exceptions, but it does nothing to further the plot.
Though, compared to some of the other vampire-esque animes out there it's not bad. At least there isn't insane amounts of gore that usually perpetuates the vampire genre of anime.
I wouldn't buy the box set unless it was cheap, but watching an episode here and there isn't a bad thing.

The OAV is rather stunning artistically and is a nice, subtle taste of anime horror...but unfortunately it has to have the most disappointing ending I've ever seen. I can honestly say that the last two minutes of the final episode completely ruined the entire series for me.
The TV series is no where near as well written or subtle as the OAV, but I think it's marginally better overall. It has a fair share of flaws, it's rather uneven, and it's WAY too episodic for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. It's actually a real nice, dark satire of the whole magical girl genre when you look at it.
