Yes, this place (http://www.ocremix.org)
I'm sure a few of you go here, and I want to know what your favorite song there is.
My personal favorites are "It's My Turn To Dream" from Link's Awakening by chthonic and "Bobble Head Inspiration" from SMRPG by Nex.
If this has been done before, then too bad. Your doing it again.
Note the sarcasm, please, because I refuse to use a smiley.

Sorry, (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01224/) but (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00206/) nope. (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00605/)
Anyway, OCRemix is some of the only music I listen to. I have it separated into three styles - Orchestral, Metal, Techno, and Jazz. I really like the aforementioned links - Game Over fucking owns - but some of my favorite songs are Super Mario Kart - Trippin' on Rainbows, both of the Commander Keen remixes - Tutura Swamp Jam and Mein Sich Galaxie. I also get a kick out of po!'s jazzy remixes, like his cooperation to form Street Fighter - Dan's Ice Cream Truck. Neskvartetten did some really good jazzy Zelda remixes too, and Gux - Darkworld Jazz (Zelda: LTTP) is amazing.
AmIEvil has an outstanding Mario Brothers 3 - Battle Rocks! remix. McVaffe is one of the best remixers on the site, with his Sonic 3 - Bonus Retreat, Mega Man 3 - Gemini Salsa, among others. Alisen's metal remixes rock too, such as Chrono Cross - Radical Punks or Chrono Cross - NikkiLearnsASong.
For my techno fix, I like Link's Awakening - It's My Turn To Dream, Chrono Trigger - Time Management, Extreme-G - G-Storm, Life Force - Temple of Life, Mega Man 3 - SnakemanGetdown and Magnet Man Goes West. Metroid - Metroid Brinstar Theme has always seemed to feel appropriate just to listen to. Street Fighter II - Ryu Freestyle Dojo I've always loved, but I blush whenever I hear him shout "Hadoken!" halfway through the fight. Zelda II - Temple Trance is just dance music and a half.
And, uh, I think I'm all out.

No stranger to the awesome known as AmIEvil.
oh god, not terra in black...That song has been spoken of so much it's greatness has lost all meaning to me. It is a good song yes, but its not the OC song that everybody makes it out to be.
Heres my latest finds:
Goat - No Flesh Allowed (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00849/) (CastleVania 2 Mansion. Heavy guitar)
DHSU - A clockwork Vampire (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01401/) (good piano)
Steve Pordon - RigorDance (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00357/) (Synth'd up the wazoo)
Rosencrantz & GuildmasterN - Simon Belmont's castle (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00585/) (weird rock, techno, synth, industrial, experimental mix)
and the best one I've found as of yet!
Trapezoid - Monkey Brain Soup for the Soul (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00799/) (Honestly, whoever doesn't love a good Monkey Island remix deserves to be shot in the groin with an elephant gun)

I actually prefer Terra Black Crystal.
My favorite 'mix artist is Disco Dan. His versions of Metal Man's theme and Tal Tal Heights are among my favorites. I even burned a CD of my top OCR picks, and those two are on it.
I'm disappointed that there's no 'mix of Castle Pandemonium from FFII. That has possibilities.

Hands down, my favorite so far has to be Uh Oh! The Beat Have Started to Move! (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00684/).
The problem I have with OC Remix is that I usually don't like the tunes everybody seems to vote for, and going through all the titles is tedious. So I only tend to visit when the mood hits me.
I also seem to recall running into a site that did pretty much the same thing, I know I got a fairly decent Metal Gear tune called 'Unarmed & Loving it!' from somewhere else, but unfortuantly I couldn't say where.

Favorite OCR mix you ask? Why, that would have to be Seized With Fury (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01356/), my good sir.
I also tend to gravitate toward more of the solo piano and jazz arrangements, as well.

If I may?
Go ahead and get the torrent file. Then go through on Random playlist and delete anything you don't like. When you're done with that, organize it into categories.
I did that a few years ago, and MAN it helped.

Well, I'm one of the remixers there...I changed my name to Aetherius almost 3 years ago, cause "Dj_StarChild" is lame.
Anyhoo, the only remix I listen to anymore is The newish one by Tepid, 'a rose for zelda.' Flippin' sweet.
I've got a bit of a reputation for pissing off the idiot judges, because I'm against the judges' panel, and I also think that almost everything that's been posted in the last 3 years has been boring-ass mediocre elevator music shit.
...So, I don't bother much with that crap anymore...especially since the real music is better.

How many times do I have to tell you people... I have dial-up, DIAL-UP! You evil people keep pointing out nifty stuff I could do, if anything better than dial-up were available locally, but it isn't. I admit, I have considered going with Wildblue, but I'm still somewhat afraid of that service, even though apparently they're a bit more leinent on Fair Access Policy than DirectWay & Skycaster. (FAP is something that goes with Dish Internet services, apparently if you exceed transmission rates per month, there can be fines in transmission rates & in the case of Skycaster, monitary fines).

Right.
Sorry. I lose track of people who are on Dial-up. It's one of those "So many = all" logical fallacies.

No problem, and sorry to wig out there. Its just I'd really like to *NOT* be just dial-up, but jumping to the dish is a bit of a step.
Well before I de-rail this thread entirely, maybe we should switch back to the dicussion of OCRemix.
