Sorry about the double post but here are the options:
A Game of Thrones,
A Clash of Kings,
A Storm of Swords part 1 (Blood and Gold)
A Storm of Swords part 2 (Steel and Snow)
A Feast for Crows.

My favourite was A Feast for Crows.

This is because the plot twists (I think Sandor Clegane is the gravedigger for the religous order) and at the end there is a cliffhanger for several of the major characters right at the end so you cant wait for the next book in the series to be released.

A Song of Ice and Fire is my absolute favourite series of books thus far.

I can't pick out a single favourite book from the series though, they're all just so incredible.

Yeah, George Martin has excellent story-telling ability. I haven't yet read A Feast For Crows, but I have no doubts that it will be a great read. My fav character is Syrio Forell and Jaqen H'gar. Yeah, the Faceless Men.

You know, I have yet to read the series, yes I own "A Game of Thrones" the Role-playing Game, and judging from the excerpts, I'm missing out dammit! So, any way to pick this up without having it work my wallet? HINT HINT.
