Okay, here's the scoop. I'm starting a Final Fantasy comic and decided to let everyone else join in on the fun! You will receive a small to medium amout of time in the comic. To sign up you need to:
1.Post your sprite sheet
2.Post his/her name
If you don't want to post them here, PM it to me. Everyone that joins will usually be in 2-4 but may be in more. And feel free to submit more than one character. The plot of this comic is that me and Dark Corn are traveling mercenaries who do good for people. However, the second person decides that evil can be much more rewarding than good. And then he turns evil and I gather up the three other mercenaries over time as we try and stop him. On some occasions, someone other than the first four will be in many comics, like as an evil sidekick or something. Sign up now! News: Now that all the main characters are filled, you don't need to put up a personality. I'll use your sheet where it's needed.

Here's one i've recently been working on. I apologize for the lack of poses but I will get to work on alot more if you want to use it. He's a samurai named Jace. He is strong but very arrogant and naive to many things. Although he acts as though he cares for no one he truely does have quite the big heart although it doesn't always show.

It's a pretty nice sheet. Just tell me if you want him to be one of the good guys or the one that turns evil.

Hmm probably one of the good ones would be best although he can have his "black mage stab time" moments if you want.

Okay, then your in. I still need more people though. The comic can start when I get the evil person. I need the others, but the evil one will be in the first few of them.

I would prefer custom/edit. If you want to be a recolr, don't expect a big role, but I might still accept it.

Um...You can make a bad guy sprite but I already said that someone can only have up to one main part. Mabey like an evil minion or something, but thats it. But if you insist, just whip up something that looks evil. I'm trying to make this comic as flexible as possible so you make how you feel it should look. Just don't make him too evil or he'd look like he'd PWN the main evil guy.

No, I like that idea. Do that. Mabey I'll even make a bad guy or two. And FBM, if you could make that a PNG and not a JPG, that would be great. And it's only an extremely simple edit so he won't be main, but since he seems to have a great pesonality, I might make him the bad guys sidekick or something.

Well, that's my sprite sheet. I'd like to sign-up as the evil guy. Basically, he was once a snide sidekick/lackey to a typical evil megalomaniac, standing at the right hand of evil and doling out droll observations about how doomed and cliched his boss's actions were. For some reason his boss, the first main evil guy, left/was disposed/somesuch, leaving my character at the controls. He's currently trying to carry on his predecessor's missions, except he's having conflicts within himself; On the one hand, he wants to stay true to the path and wreak havoc, but his ingrained logic and cynicism cause him to constantly question the methods and tools laid out before him. It isn't to say he isn't inherently evil, he just wants to make sure that he can be evil AND proud of himself in hindsight.

Or whatever, I just want someone to use my sheet for something. I think it feels rejected, lying in the bowels of the forum, unused and unloved.

I can be a bad guy. His personality is condescending and he corrects people over the smallest error in punctuation/ grammar/ spelling. He is a spellcaster (just get any kinds of spell effects from anywhere). Very nefarious and cruel. The kind who would laugh if he saw a news report about an old woman hit by a bus, then lying in agony on the street for three day impaled on a tire (yeah, okay, its just me, but whatever). He has various minions which are basically small versions of himself. Just shrink him by 50% in paint or something. They also have half the powers.

Edit: Whoa hey wait! I just noticed something. The first one is just a simple edit, and isn't even 8-bit! I can't accept the first one. The second one is fine. But mabey he looks a little too evil. Can I edit him slightly for the first few comics before he turns evil? I'll start the comic when I get your answer.

I like to take it slow so everyone knows whats going on. (And there's as many comics as possible before eventually, the series ends.)((But don't worry, I usually come up with new storylines afterwards. Like I might make the group split up, and then later on rejoin to fight some new evil. I'm just good like that.))

I don't really think there's ever a good excuse for double posting. The only feasible one I can think of is that your post goes over the 10,000 character limit and you aren't able to make an attachment for the original post.

Anyways, to achieve the same effect without posting twice, all you have to do is delete the old post, then post it again. The thread is bumped and the post count remains the same.
