Is there any way to search a thread by poster? For example, if I wanted to find all of, say, Patrat's posts in the Comic Discussion thread; or if I thought I had posted some links in the Spore thread, and wanted to look over just my posts in said thread to check.
Search Thread has no tool that does this (that I know of). Advanced Search has no tool like this (again, that I know of).
So, does anyone know if this can be done? If not, can it be implemented?

It can't be done. I've tried multiple times to figure it out to no avail. So yeah, i second the motion of it being implemented.

Closest thing I can think of is putting in the poster's name in the search thread thing.

Well you can find how many posts people have in a thread.

Then this will come up:

You can check how many posts you have in a thread by hovering your mouse like in the picture below:

But you can't search a thread by user. That should be added.

Assuming its recent (and within 500 posts) you could just view all posts made by that user by clicking their name and selecting the appropiately titled action.
I'm sure everyone here already knows it but it seems to me the closest thing you can get, unless shiney has Fuitad or whoever do a minor addition.
You could alway ctrl+f and type in the persons user name. You can't expect the forum to do everything for you. =D

Multiple pages, friend. I'd rather not load an entire hundred-page thread on one page. Dail-up, you know.
