I've actually saw some topic mentioning it but i didnt see a topic ABOUT it so here it is...

'ive been watching the Sub version of Bleach... it has being a LONG time since i've found a anime thats actually GOOD to see... its fun, its inteligent and actually, quite catchy...

Funny lines and momments being delivered by the most serious characters on the most unexpected momments

and ofcourse, the first show i've ever saw were i guy would actually beat the crap out of his enemy if he is talking too much! Even if what he is talking about is Plot-related! amazing!

And for you Guys who saw the entire first Arch, i guess you can agree with me when i say that this anime has some great plot twists and even better storyline design...!

I could honestly say that this one and "The karas" were some of the best anime i saw in the last years...

I agree that this is a very good anime.

There's humor, plus some very kick ass fight scenes, and a great story. Plus, it's true like Bell said. Several times the main character has hit another character for standing there and talking when they should be fighting.

You can tell that it's made by the same people that do Naruto, though. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I absolutely love this anime.

Its style of delivering comic relief during the most serious times is just hilarious. Some things sort of resemble Naruto though. But Ichigo doesn't leave a lesson as much as Naruto does.

Overall, it is pretty believable and well done.

There are some points in this anime that had taken me by the heart... i wont go deep in it because of the Spoilers, but the final arraival of Zangetsu (around Ep 20-25 i belive) and the Final battle between Ichigo and Byakuya its just the kind of thing that makes fans ...

I mean... its rare to see a fight that goes with the hero saying that he WILL kick his enemy ass and then he DOES, 3 times in a row!

And also... no way not to love the karakura Superheroes!

Thanks to my school's anime club, I've seen maybe eight episodes (could be more, I forget). I know it isn't much, but I'm too lazy to get the subs myself on the net, so I'll just have to live without the show until it comes over here officially in one way or another...

Anyway, what other people said is very true. But another thing I liked was how in depth they explained the world. Plus most of it was explained with crappy drawings that were constantly made fun of by Ichigo, so there were at least some running gags too.

I would say easily over 40, maybe even more depending on how much they want to have the manga get ahead.

Even so after every 26 episodes, they will have to take another break that long again, just because of how fast they are rushing through the chapters.

Unless Adult Swim gets it. If that happened, they would probably just tack on the dub and leave it as is.

Of course, there's always DVD's, so it doesn't really matter when they start coming out.

I can stand the fillers... Bleach is like an improved Naruto.

Popular shounen anime with good comedy and good fight scenes, without getting exhaustive. That's quite rare and respectable.

Bleach is my favorite manga, though sadly alot of the best jokes had to be cut because they just dont work in an anime. Though as a rule manga are better, point is Bleach rules. Its just one of those rare series that not only have comedy, action, drama, but can actually blend them together so well. You might see comedy in an action scene, normally it would seem out of place but in Bleach it not only works but fits.

*watches Eva and FMA* lets see, blatent sex, swearing, blood, lost limbs, religious undertones...some how I dont see Bleach being a problem on adult swim.

Adult Swim here in Brazil is kinda of a sad thing... Only Bob and Margaret, Aqua teen, Harvey birdman and Sealab 2021... no anime...

there are just some small spots on a anime like Bleach that i REALLY would like to see more often... Like Byakuya.. one of the most serious characters on the whole show... being totally unconfortable about Ichigo calling him by his first name after they fight, even though he is a Noble... its just amazing on the anime to see stuff like that, and it happens almost every episode...

Also... about the game... most of the Anime-like games today suck... (see the Knight of the Zodiac game, Saint Seiya for the PS2) i think that the only one that looks good its Naruto for the Game cube...

Anyways, Bleach, my... fourth Anime series, and currently, er... ranks the same as FMA and Cowboy Bebop. (EVA is in 2nd)

It's like DBZ, with cool attacks... except when there's too much exposition, they punch people... and have bad drawings with said exposition... and there's a lot of blood.

Ichigo ties with Spike in being my favorite hero (Spike is just cool, Ichigo is.. damn cool) and you gotta admit, he's got one hell of a dark side. :P

Just because they're similar in certain respects doesn't mean they have to be equal in quality.

In DBZ, every five seconds they're 50 - 100 times more powerful than they were. In Bleach, an attack can compete with a Captian who's been vaunted as being one of the elite for so long...then the next second its stopped by a finger.

Similar, not equal. Obviously Bleach is better story wise.

I hope Bleach is NOT the next DBZ. I don't think Bleach is as silly, annoying, and ridiculous as DBZ(from what I watched anyway). Bleach has a nice story line. I got bored with DBZ pretty early and I'm not bored with Bleach. I haven't watched much of DBZ, so, my opinions may not be totally on.

I forgot to say it earlier so, I hope they don't mess up the dub of Bleach. Bad voice acting can kill almost anything.

first off cut DBZ some slack, it was made in the early 80's after all. Now you shouldn't compare the two shows. Apples and oranges people, apples and oranges.

PS, actually its more like the new Naruto. Again cant really compare them, they dont even have the same target audience. Just saying what most see it as.

That plot twist near the end of the Soul Society arc was pretty good. Caught me off gaurd. (how can it not? unless you're psychic) Let's just say that not all characters are as they seem.

I think the story of Bleach is better than DBZ's. I also think they've got a similarity as far as the mega power thing goes. I never said I didn't find DBZ amusing, or that I completely disliked it.

You get a cookie, morphed into an apple, that was stuffed into an orange, which will be shot at you in speeds of excess of 400 MPH.

Now, when I said it was like DBZ, I meant the huge attacks and all. (Chad's blast coudl really be seen as a Hadoken, or Kamehameha (er.. which one is DBZ?)) Oh, and the power leve stuff.

I mean, heck, when someone has a powerful spiritual force, it makes the whole world go fuzzy, and weird lines appear, as well as causing pain or something like it in much weaker people.

To explain Ichigo's massive power growth in Soul Society, I'd say it's cause he's getting used to the world, making it easier for him to work it, as well as the training with Zangetsu.

Hmm... is Ichigo's soul slayer suppressed like the capitan's? Because they have to suppress theirs, otherwise they'd be the size of buildings.

Geeze, if his is suppressed, and still that large... hehe...

Well, he IS a special Shiginami.

Ichigo was always that powerful, he just had no clue how to use it. Heck if he actually tapped into that power like against menos grande his power would overwhelm him and become unstable. His own energy would litterally kill him

Its impossible to explain some concepts on Bleach without unleashing some spoilers... but its great... in one episode there is a "secret", 10 Episodes later the Secret is revealed and it explains a lot of the stuff that happens on the other 9 Episodes that passed by... its inteligent... not many shows are these days...

Also... Ichigo was always a mistery... in one Year he reached power to compare himself to any Captain... (Which is something around 100 years... just the "Bankai" takes around 10 years to learn...) .. and then... Guess what... the viewer is left with a few hundred questions that i really want to know the answers...

I always figured Ichigo was that powerful because he was:

One third human: Gave him his baseline powers
One third Death God: Expanded his human powers to eventually Captain level.
One Third Hollow: Broke the Death God limit, and turned him into something even more powerful than a capitan

Of course, I may be wrong, and he may just be some super freak thing...

What I personaly want to know is where he would rank (in Bankai) against the other capitans. He's obviously strong enough to beat most of them (He beat Ken, who beat several others that he didn't fight), but there are several that we never saw him fight. A pity.

Arc 1 - Soul Society Arc
Arc 2 - Bount's Fillers
Arc 3 - Its called "The Vaizzard"

There is also 2 OVA's and no End to the series in Sight

Bleach is the best anime in awhile, but part of me worries they will drag it out too much. I mean it is a character driven show, so you cant really end it. you just have to cut it off or let it slowly die out

For those of you who haven't seen all the way through the Soul Society story arc, you might want to wait before you view this OVA, since it could spoil a few things for you, depending how far in that arc you are. Well, I just watched episodes 72 and 73, and I have to say, this Bounto stuff is good, but it's nowhere near as good as the Soul Society arc.

We did finally learn how to beat them, though. Burn their Doll things, and they get rapid-aged. I wonder what'd happen if they took a direct shot from Chad's Giant Arm?

I wish we'd see more humans with powers. Surely more of Ichigo's friends can get powers?

Bleach is great. There really isn't much that I could say about it that hasn't already been said. The end of the first arc was the best plot twist I have ever seen.

My only question is what ever happened to the flying dragon wing thing that Ichigo used when he first made it to the tower where Rukia was being held (before his Bankai training)?

I have a question though, Was Ichigo always part hollow, or was it do to the training he underwent before he regained his Shinigami powers? It seems likely the shopkeeper (Uhahara, I believe, can't spell) purposely used that technique to re-unlock Ichigo's power to turn him half hollow. Since he originally created the method to fuse hollows and Shinigami (and sealed it in Rukia.)

he was always special that way... he has the both parts inside of him and they are both QUITE strong... he could go either way actually... but thanks to the Special training, he went in the way we saw on the first arch...

now, after the filler arch, there is the 3rd arch... that focus entirely on THAT question

Actually during his training to regain his Death God-Shinigami-Soul Reaper powers. He actually DID turn into a Hollow briefly. Its just through sheer force of will he managed to become a shinigami instead.

Ichigo is the strongest Shinigami around. Not only does he have incredible spirit power, but he also is the combination of a Hollow and a Shinigami, which is the only possible way to become stronger than the maximum level.

So...he could basically take out the entire Soul Societ at the same time on his own if he wanted to...once he got full control of all his powers, anyway.

I think that would be overexageration of his power.

I mean, even when he was fighting Rukia's brother (no, I cannot spell it. Go away.), he got beaten up something bad. And that was with help from his little friend inside him, AND Bankai.

I think, workign together, three captains would annihilate him. Especially if the General is one of them.

Like Raiden said If he got control of his powers. When he was fighting Rukia's brother he had been using his Bankai for a day or two, all other Shinigami with Bankai trained for hundreds of years after getting Bankai. Not to mention Rukia's brother used the "true form" of his Bankai against Ichigo and still lost.

Also EvilNess that was my question, maybe I worded it wrong but did turning into a hollow during his training, then turning into a Shinigami (instead of going straight from regular soul to Shinigami like the other Shinigami did) cause him to be half-hollow, half-Shinigami, and did the shopkeeper plan it out that way, i.e. he wanted Ichigo to be half-hollow, thats why he chose that method of unlocking Ichigo's power.
