I was just on the Pokemon Movie Website (The Japanese one duh!!) and guess what I found, yet another Pokemon movies on the way. Not to be mean or anything, I really do like the Pokemon themes.

Can anyone give me a translation of the site, and the names of the new pokemon featured including the (extremely cute) baby Mantine?

Dear. Lord.

I'm sorry. After the utter CRAP that was Deyoxis (where'd my badass go?! D:) I've mostly lost hope in the Pokemon movies. After the third one, it started going sharply downhill, and now I just don't feel like even bothering with it anymore.

...But I'll probably go see it anyway. I'm still a fan... just not as much as I use to be.

Allright I have to agree with the Deyoxis failure... I really didn't like that game much either. But still you have to look ahead and hope the Pokemon Rangers in the next movie get everything right finally and see how they figure it out... Hopefully it is nice.

... I stopped watching the Pokemon movies when they stopped having actual villains.

And I hated the Deoxys movie. Not so much because of the quality, but because the stars of the movie are two of the Pokemon I hate the most. Damn Nintendo, Game Freak, and everyone involved in the cration of Deoxys and Rayquaza.

Oh, and the fact that everyone was just a misunderstood good guy. Even Deoxys.

I'll admit, even I pine for the days when you'd have something like Mewtwo around to be all, "You know what? Fuck it. I'm gonna wipe out all life on Earth and replace it with supercharged, ultra-violent clones. See how you like that."

Try looking for a game called Hokeymon, or something like that.

EDIT: You can find a demo here. (http://www.snarfblat.com/sbproducts.htm)

Wait... you mean movies 8 and 9?

Well, I'm off the rut, but from what I know, 8 is about a drunk Mew and a Pokémon who thinks Ash, who is dressed like his several-times-greatgrandfather is that man.

9 involves a squishy bloo thingy who seems strangely erotic. And who is the Prince of the Sea.

Or maybe I'm just spending too much time on Pokemopolis (www.pokemopolis.net/forum).

*nods* I'm still a Pokémon fan to the core, but the "badass" aspect has plummeted. ...maybe if they brought back that Groudon-ish thing from the Jirachi movie it'd improve, though. That... whatever it was... OWNED.

The plot for every one is the same. Good guys have to solve puzzle/go on journey/collect item to defeat bad guys, battle, bad guys defeated, good guys walk off into sunset. It's no fun anymore, 'cause they just won't die! If there was actual loss of life - that would be interesting.

Oh boy, I saw the Mirage pokemon movie, and it sucked. The only good thing about was mewtwo beating the living daylights out of pikachu. It had bad voice acting, and the other only good thing was the villain. Woo! Go Villains who trick the heros! Mirage Master sucked though

I stopped watching the Pokemon movies after the third one. It basically started to get boring for me because I lost interest in the Pokemon games after Gold and Silver because they made somewhere around another hundred Pokemon, so I didn't have any clue what new Pokemon would be in that movie. Plus the fact that they released the movies close together, at least as I remember it.

All of you guys who are saying they should reincorporate the "badass factor" should check out the target demographic for this show. It's basically pre-teen and lower, so they will tweak the show to appeal to that demographic. Sadly, that means no one's dying any time soon.
