For some reason, whenever I try to go directly to www.forum.nuklearpower.com, it displays the "cannot find web site" page. Is this happening to anyone else?

The "forum" part takes its place. It directs you to this section of "www.nuklearpower.com".

At least, that's how I understand it. *shrug* Don't claim to be an expert.

Yes, it's called a sub-domain. The main domain is located by typing "www" as your sub-domain, which is standard EVERYWHERE as the main domain section, standing for World Wide Web. Brian has chosen to put his forum on an entire sub-domain, and thus we have this.

Well, it actually all depends on a particular server's DNS server. The one my site is hosted on (don't bother asking about it, literally nothing is there right now) will load subdomains just fine with the www attached to the front of it. Some servers are laid back, and are cool with it, some are uptight anal pricks.
