Now, maybe this is just me, but the drop-down menu for "Search" is being covered up by the A History of Violence ad. I can't see the textbox to input keywords, and I can't click on the "advanced search" button.
Anyone else having this problem?

I have this problem too. Until it's cleared up, you can right-click on the "Search" option and opt to open in a new tab or window. It'll take you directly to advanced search, somehow.

Until it's fixed, to get to the advanced search, use the above method, or get your cursor in what you can see of the text box, press TAB twice, and hit enter.

The short story: Flash and javascript don't get along. Flash ads will always, always, ALWAYS be on top of any javascript dropdown. I've seen it happen on numerous other sites, and either the fix is extremely elusive, or doesn't exist. So, in short, whenever there's a flash banner in the ad space, you ain't gonna be able to use those dropdowns properly. Here, or anywhere else on the internet.
