And somehow you knew it would be me. Once spam freak, turned spam nazi, turned reformed spam nazi who just posts. Yay.

Without further ado, allow me to christen these new forums...with complaints!

Why is roleplay misspelled? Why is there no description for arts&crafts? Why why why?

Ahem. Welcome to the forum biz, for reals, Kuro. Good to see a forum hosted on a predictably stable server. I suppose being as I own the first post, and I'm supposed to be a mod, I should really make my presence more known about the nukie 8bit communitah.

It would also be better of you didn't have to click that icon to activate the Quck Reply Box.

And where are our avatars? And custom titles?

- Fixed typo with roleplay
- arts&craft had no prior description and I'm out of imagination so there!
- quick reply is now enabled without clicks
- avatars already work, open your eyes :P, same thing with custom titles

Failing that, a cookie.

80x80 avatar = me not happy. I always thought 100x100 was pretty standard.

Actually most of the sites I go to have much much bigger limits. The avatars that are offsite dont take up bandwidth and there shouldnt be too many people running 640x480 anymore...

You know, it's only a minor complaint, but I can't seem to get an image to display in my signature. It turns into a link. Wether that's by design, or an error, I'm not sure, I just thought I'd mentuion it.

I think these forums will probably get too big for sig images, those poor dialup people (shudders at dial-up memories) would have a heart attack

We need some discipline here. All sorts of people randoming up every thread.

I changed the limit to 100x100

yeah way too much randomizing...althogh some of that may be from me I meant for it to be part of the thread. The problem is that the forums expanding fast and the administrators can't keep up with all the threads. I think the best we could do is advise randomizers to use the random section and hope that a misplaced random thread gets blocked

It'll get better once one of the mods places a sticky'd rant at the top and instructs everyone to read it, and all the giddy newbies who have no intention of staying leave.

Banninations on idiots who insist on being idiots will ensue, I suppose.

Then things will calm down.

Does anyone find my avatar distracting? If so, I'll switch it.

Cool. You didn't have to do that though. I appreciate it, but if policy was 80x80 I wouldn't have had a problem accepting that. Just means I'd have had to create a new avatar.
